Our 3-year-old son was really looking forward to seeing fireworks at New Year's Eve and we decided that rather than stay at home where the view would not have allowed a lot from the window, we would spend the night at a higher floor of a hotel, so that we could wake him up in the middle of the night and show him the fireworks from the window. The choice of the hotel was good. We asked them for a specific side of the hotel and they offered us 23rd floor, which was just perfect for seeing the city lights in the evening and for seeing the fireworks even a long distance away.

On the positive side: The hotel was clean overall, the staff professional and friendly. The room and bathroom were both very clean, the solution for having a bath in the space was excellent. The large windows were clean. The room has a small fridge (we took our own bottle of bubbly with us). There is a corkscrew and wine glasses in the room. The bed was comfortable.
As we had had a meal with the family before, we did not order dinner, but the prices were not expensive, and on another occasion we would try the restaurant and room service.

On the negative side: It miffed us a bit that the parking cost quite a bit, but we were too tired to move the car.
Due to COVID, they offer roomservice breakfast to everyone instead of dining together, and I guess this must cause logistical problems with everybody wanting breakfast around the same time. This meant that it was quite cold by the time it got to us. If we were in the same situation again, we would not order warm food, just croissants (which were delicious) and cold meats/cheeses. The coffee was served in covered take-away cups, so it was warm enough.

Dear Grettawen, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia! We are very delighted to read that you had a wonderful stay in our hotel and that our team has been of assistance in making your stay more comfortable. It also gives us great pleasure to hear that the view on the 23rd floor met your expectations. We truly recommend to visit us during the summer time as well, especially when the sun is high, the city seems limitless and the view is mesmerizing. Regarding the service, it is of highest importance for us to ensure that you are very well taken care of and that all your needs are fulfilled. Which is why we are very thankful for your honest feedback regarding the breakfast. It is true, because of COVID restrictions and for the safety of our guests, on the New Year's morning all breakfasts were delivered to rooms. For future reference, we will check all of the room service trolley's heaters, to ensure that warm breakfast meals will be delivered to the rooms accordingly. And we would also like to apologize for the disappointment you had with the cost for parking. Unfortunately our hotel does not own any of the nearby parking lots. All of them are operated by parking companies, who have set their own price list for the parking. We would like to thank you once more for your thorough review and we would be more than happy to welcome you back in the near future! Looking forward to your next visit, Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia

The Radisson Blu Hotel Olumpia is your average business hotel. All in all, it's a good hotel. It lives up to the Radisson Blu standard. I liked some of the people who work at the front desk, but was absolutely amazed by the concierge, a young lady called Camilla. She is extremely pleasant and competent.

Part of the problem is that the hotel was built as a large tower. This means that the indiviual rooms are tiny with even smaller bathrooms. But more troubling is that the walls are extremely thin. You can hear every work spoken in the room next door.

Location is not too bad. It's a ten-minute walk to the old town of Tallinn. But if you have a rental car, I suggest you leave it on the large parking lot across the street. 24 hours cost ten Euros. If you continue driving a block away from the old town, there is even parking for five Euros for 24 hours. The hotel parking on the other hand is way too overpriced with 25 Euros for 24 hours.

The hotel is slightly dated and rough around the edges. But considering the prices, I can recommend staying here. Obviously space is problematic in this part of town, as there is a series of high tower hotels in the vicinity. So make sure you're not afraid of heights.

Dear Etienne A, We would like to thank you for choosing Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia and for summarizing your experience with us! We are very delighted to hear that our service met your expectations because it is of highest importance for us to ensure that you are very well taken care of and that all your needs are always fulfilled. Every guest comment is important to us in order to find out shortages and areas for improvement. It is disappointing to learn that the room was not up to your expectations in regards to the size and the sound proofing. For future reference, please be advised that our Premium class rooms are more spacious (34-36m2) and these rooms have very spacious bathrooms as well. It is true that Tallinn has expensive parking so the citizens could use all city public transports for free. Sadly the hotel does not own any of the nearby parking lots. All of them belong to and are operated by the city or a third party owner, who already have fixed charges for their lots. Unfortunately our hotel does not have a say in the prices for these parking lots. Overall we would like to thank you for your great and informative feedback, it is highly appreciated by all of us and gives us a chance to improve our services. We sincerely hope to get the opportunity to fully meet your expectations on your next stay with us. With Kind Regards. Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia

Every thing else was good. As I mentioned before. I was unsatisfied because of poor reaction that I had problems with booking before staying. So I did booking one more time same day I stayed. As people from our company stay a lot in Radisson hotels, I don't like that they didn't care about that...

This 84-meter high hotel with 26 floors was built in 1980 for the Moscow Summer Olympic Games. The sailing competitions were held in Tallinn, at the Olympic Yachting Centre in Pirita.

The hotel has been completely modernized after that. Believe me, I have seen the old Olympia in 1989 when I stayed here for two nights.

If you want to have Old Town views and to stay in a suite, the only option is to book the Presidential Suite. It and the six other suites are located on the so-called Jewel Floor on the 13th floor.

Four (72 sqm) and two (48 sqm) suites are named after jewels: Topaz, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Onyx, and Amethyst. The Presidential Suite (189 sqm) is called Diamonds and Pearls. There are also some Junior Suites with a sauna on other floors but they have views on the entrance side.

Our suite was huge in size. The Presidential Suite has a dining room with a separate buffet area, a living room with a high-quality Harman Kardon sound system, two spacious identical bedrooms, one bathroom with a jacuzzi, one bathroom with a sauna, and two balconies which are not so special to spend time.

This suite is the biggest suite in Tallinn although Hilton states that their Presidential Suite (180 sqm) is the biggest one. In January, we stayed there for a super sale price of 834 euros (the normal price being around 3000 euros). The Dream Deal offer for the Olympia suite was 669 euros (the normal price is 860 euros).

For a sale price, you get better value in Hilton. Their suite has more stunning decor, especially in the bathroom and in the living room. The Olympia decor was a little bit sterile and outdated. The Hilton price includes also access to the executive lounge.

The breakfast at Olympia was completely different from what we encountered on the previous morning at Radisson Sky. For safety, everything was packed to single portions. Warm dishes were ordered from the a la carte menu. Coffee was brought to the table. The service was super friendly. It was a very pleasant experience.

hotel is clean although a bit old. AC does not work during winter months and rooms can get a bit stuffy. Pool access only available upon room upgrades (higher level rooms or payment).
Breakfast is amazing - make sure to try their speciality the Estonian kringle.
You can walk to nearby shopping centers and old town although it might take some 30 minutes.
Parking spots are in the back of the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel over the new year 22/23 and in general we found it to be a very nice hotel. It’s location is good, it’s only 10 to 15 minutes walk to the old city. There’s currently building works across the road, but the windows keep out most of the noise.
The staff at reception are very helpful and have good English. But there were only two on reception when we were there which meant it could take a while to get to the head of the queue.
The room (standard room) is small, specially with a child in the fold out bed, but it’s adequate. There’s tea and coffee in the room and a bath and shower.
There’s sockets beside the beds, so you can charge your phone and still have it to hand.
We used the pool/gym facility which is on the 26th floor. Our only interest was having a swim, which at €15 each worked out rather expensive, specially as the water in the pool was freezing cold, maybe that’s how they do it, but it would have been much nicer if it was warm.
We got room service on one evening, it was reasonably priced and all three of us agreed it was delicious, well worth getting.
The concierge service was operated by people with limited English and really weren’t much help to us, we were looking for things to do with our granddaughter and they seemed rather stumped. It would appear that Tallinn is more adapted towards older visitors. Having said that, we spent an afternoon at the Zoo which we all enjoyed.
There’s a Table Tennis table available on the second floor, so if you find yourself with time on your hands, this is a great way to pass the time.
Overall I would recommend this hotel. There are a lot of pluses, and apart from the freezing pool, very few minuses.

Stayed there for 4 nights on a romantic getaway. Took the superior room with old town view on the 21st floor which was spectacular! Room was a bit small with a small bathroom, it was difficult to have enough storage space (no real shelves, just coat hangers). However, bed was comfortable, bathroom even had a nice bath tub and it was enough for those 4 nights. Spa area on the 26th floor was absolutely beautiful, with private men’s/women’s sauna’s, a pool and a common 50 degree sauna. Gym well-equipped and with a great view. Didn’t try the breakfast. Service at the reception was great. It is a business hotel but I would definitely come back also on leisure.

Booked this hotel as I am very familiar with the Radisson brand, plus it is a tall hotel affording excellent views out across Tallin. We used the tram from the airport to travel to the hotel, the tram stop being a short ten minute walk. The hotel is situated on what appears to be the outer ring road, so this and the rather uninspiring concrete tower construction of the building can give a slightly foreboding feel, this isn't eased upon entry when you are greeted by a rather dull corporate and uninspiring lobby. Still, the staff were pleasant and completed all formalities quickly. We were allocated a city view room on the 19th floor.

The views are stunning, we could see the old town, as well as the high rises of the new town area and the port beyond. There was nothing exemplary about the room, it felt a little austere, but it was warm, dry and comfortable. The bathroom seemed to hark back to the early 90's with the colour of the tiles, but again it was all perfectly functional and clean.

It takes a walk of around ten minutes or so to walk into the old town area passing a very small mall on the way. This Mall also had a food court run by Lido which we enjoyed in Riga, but did not use here in Tallin. Exceptional value. Getting around Tallin on foot is fairly easy, it's a fascinating city. I would definitely return, but would prefer to stay in a different hotel with a quirky charm perhaps.

We stayed for two nights in 20th floor, the view was really nice! Room was little bit small, I thought it would be bigger especially when it was so expensive.. Location is good, there is shopping mall close by and it’s not too far from Old town.

Our room was clean. Bed was nice but pillows were too big for me, I get migraine easily so I had to sleep the other night without pillow.. Air condition would have been nice, it was pretty chilly in the evening. Hair dryer needs updating, my hands are little bit stiff in the morning and the fact that you have to press the on-button all the time wasn’t exactly nice.. We didn’t have any hand soap..?! Is this mistake or you don’t offer any? I think that was big minus. We could also hear everything from next door which was little bit irritating.

Breakfast was really good but lines were too long! You should let people choose what time they go there (for example 8am, 8.15am and so on) so everyone wouldn’t be there at the same time!

Sauna and swimming pool were also nice to visit in the evening after walking the whole day outside.

We would come back here even though there were few things that they could change

Hello, If you would like to use a public transport service, we recommend to use a bus number "2", which stops at bus stop 1, by the car parking that is located at the front of the airport, next to the so-called lower entrance. Youre route will be from "Lennujaam" to "Tornimäe" and the distance from "Tornimäe" bus stop to Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia is approximately 500m. Despite that, we recommend to use a taxi service. You can find always a taxi at the front of the airport and the total price from the airport to Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia will be approximately 10 euro. Kind regards, Eirik Bergvoll General manager
