We booked this hotel because of it’s closeness to the Pirita beach, it’s historic significance, because it was walking distance to the Song Grounds and to look at Tallinn from a slightly different aspect. We stayed one night at Pirita on our trip to Estonia. Having just visited Sourthern and Eastern Estonia, coming back to the overpriced Tallinn and Pirita wasn't the best way to end the trip. Pirita Top Spa looks very much like a Soviet product that it is. Even the scratched name of the hotel gives an impression of a bad...

I stayed in this hotel with my EX-girlfriend last year and had mixed feelings about it. We arrived and the reception girl was nice, and pointed us in the direction of our room. We were walking along to the room when we bumped into about 8 half naked pensioners...which was a vile sight. The hotel could do with modernising big...

The Pirita Top Spa is has gone through a thorough renovation since the Soviet era, but still it is not very accomodating by its looks. The rooms are clean, the sea view is worth it and the spa is very good and reasonably priced. Some downsides as well. Sometimes you do feel like you are in a Soviet facility, the...
