An excellently designed bar with an extensive choice of beers. The bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their wares. The €10/10 beer sampler is excellent and well worth trying. We only used the bar, didn't stay in the hostel so I'm unable to comment on the accommodation. Finally a bit of advice for you ladies, don't be offended if...

We really enjoyed our time here. We were in a 4 bed bedroom which was equipped with everything you need. Each bed has a reading light and two plugs and a box to put your stuff which can be locked with your own padlock. The pub downstairs is really cool and everything is nicely decorated. There is no kitchen available,...

The best thing about this hostel is the location, it is located just where the old town starts 5-10 minutes from the bus station. The staff was really friendly, always happy to hand out a draft beer from the old volkswagen bus who acts as bar/reception. The rooms were clean and quiet at night time, but it was a bit...

I had been recommended this place by someone that had been two years ago. I was not disappointed. They do a great deal on beers where you can sample 14 beers for 10 euros. There is a good atmosphere and games to play upstairs, such as table football and dominos.

This stay is cheap, the rooms are clean, staff is nice and it is a great meeting point for getting to know travellers from all over the world. They provided a free beer for breakfast and very good drink specials from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Friendly, warm staff. Happy hour 5:00-7:00. Mix of locals and tourists enjoying beers and chatting. wifi works great. Didn't stay here, so I can't comment on the accommodations. But came back for happy hour several times.

Spent a few nights in here, good choice of local beers to choose from & if unsure of what to try, brilliant bar staff in the 'camper van' on hand to advise. Very welcoming to visitors & if you need directions or advice on Riga, always someone willing to assist you....oh and beers very reasonably priced!
