Really nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. The location is excellent smack in the middle of old town. Our room was very nice with wooden beams, spacious and a lot of charm. The breakfast was gfood woth local produce. If and when we are going back to Riga, we will stay

No doubt, perfect place to stay in Riga. Best breakfast ever. Own restaurant on the roof with terrace where you can enjoy your welcome drinks. Location cannot be better. All is fine. Unbelievable 'value for money'.

Excellent value and service. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Room was excellent. Rooftop restaurant was nice if a bit pricey for what we got but as a one-off it’s ok. Quality of the food is great.

We enjoyed from the Hotel Gutenbergs. It has the excellent location – everything is very close. The rooms are big, and the beds are also big. The breakfast is pretty good. They almost do not change it each morning, but it was ok for us. We have asked early check-in (about

The truth is, I found this hotel through a tourist attraction but from the first moment what attracted the eyes was the positive opinions of visitors to the hotel. I will try not to quote anyone: The hotel is hidden in the heart of the Old Town, just a few minutes' walk from all

Does the hotel hold a New Years eve party? Thankyou
Sorry I do not know as I stayed mid December. You could email the hotel as they were very helpful during my stay.

Sorry it took so long. We don't have our own parking. The closest safe parking costs Eur 18.00/ 24 h. On the street it will be Eur 2,50/ h.

Is parking available
There is street parking which, depending on the time of year (like summer), might be more of a challenge to find than at others. But the hotel is worth it. Just lovely.

Hello. I was wondering what the best way would be to get from the airport to this hotel? Thank you!
Hello, To get to the hotel there are a couple of options - in fact three. Book transport through the hotel. Then someone will be at the airport to pick you up with your name on a sign. Appr. cost €15. You can prepay a taxi at a counter in the arrivals hall. Give the receipt to the driver of a taxi from this company and he/she'll take you there. Cost €11-12. With not a lot of luggage you can catch the regular bus to the city centre. Get out at the first stop after crossing the river. Then less than 10mins walk to the hotel. After a fare increase the cost should be €1-2. (Cheapest if you buy the ticket before boarding. Available from any Narvesen kiosk.)

Is there an airport shutle available to and from the airport?
I would simply ask Reception to order a taxi- which was what we did. The driver took our cases and both loaded and then unloaded them at the airport. As for arrival again we simply took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Absolutely no problems at all. Clive F.

"If you want a big room but dont mind banging your head on a wooden beam and a low hanging chandelier then choose room 311 ;)"
