The historical building and place could be amazing. By such it's difficult to put the finger on why it's not amazing is difficult. . The hotel was refurbished but the designer didn't have a lucky day when it comes to colours, they don't exactly cheer you up. . The atmosphere somehow following this a bit depressed result. . Service is...

Staying in this hotel as recommended by a family member, had an initial booking cancelled as the company we booked with went into bankruptcy, I contacted them and rebooked to which there were no problems with the communication and had an email confirming the booking, booked a private transfer via the hotel and was greeted with a name plaque as...

Very good location. Room we got (316) was rather small, low ceiling, very small window. Bathroom clean and comfortable. Parking space is very small, may be ten cars max and needs to be booked in advance. Breakfast good, but nothing very special. No cafee machine served in termose. The building itself old and interesting, a little bit dark everywhere.

We spent 5 nights at the Europa Royale Riga. The location is very convenient to both the old town and to some of the newer sections and is right across from a large park. The hotel is an old mansion (which sometimes meant that we could hear more noise from neighboring rooms than desirable). The rooms are very large, with...

We checked in early but a room was found for us. Smallish but good facilities. A beautiful building - a mansion that has been perfectly restored. Superb breakfast. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Parking is available, but charged for.

The rooms are very large and the overall decor is an elegant antique. Service is very good in all respects. The breakfast is plentiful and with a good variety of offerings. The dining room is fantastic, with lovely furniture and views of the shady courtyard. All the staff are friendly and very helpful.

This hotel is just 10 min from old Town. When you enter it's very grand. When we entered our room, what a surprise, it was so big! And very high ceiling! Breakfast okay with many local specialities. We also had a drink one afternoon in the spectacular bar, nice staff. If you want something different you have to stay here.

If you like Art Nouveau you will love this hotel. The location is convenient for the rail and coach stations and the old town. The hotel has many ornate features - the dining room ceiling and the bar especially. There are areas to have a quite sit or meeting and also an outside raised terrace. My room was quite large,...

Very good location, close to the train station and therefore very central. The food is good but not excellent, the hotel is clean, although quite old. The personnel was a disappointment, not helpful and seems to be very tired.
