Close to harbour and old town, this hotel is conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are well equipped and taken care of. Breakfast was delicious with high hygienic standards due to the Corona situation. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed there with my family for 2 nights. We were two adults and two children (3 and 4 years). It was double room, I asked for 1 extra bed for extra price. BUT I got 2 extra beds for children with no extra charge !!!! Room was big with TV, electric cattle, tee, coffee, lot of towels, very warm and clean. Tasty, large breakfast was included in price, served in room (in this time).
All restaurants are closed, but near reception is small fridge with fresh juice, salad and sandwich, perfect when You arrive hungry :)
Hotel is near big park, near old town. Also buss, trolley and tram stations are close to hotel.

Price was too small for all this :)

It was very nice stay!!! Thank You!

The hotel is located in quiet city center, this location provides great balance between tourist attractions availability and quietness. In terms of service, the hotel is very good. I like how everything works in there, so it was very easy for me to check in or check out, the personnel was very friendly and ready to help.
The hotel tries hard to be look luxurious, but well, it's not. In my opinion, some minimalistic interior might look better rather than all those fake gold decorations and so on.
The room was cozy, same as bathroom. I've discovered only 1 minor disadvantage: vent humming. For some reason, I could hear the ventilation work only when I was in bed. In other parts of the room it was not hearable. It wasn't an issue for me, I was able to sleep without any problems, but for some people it might become a problem, so keep in mind.
Additionally, I liked bedsheets because sometimes in hotels there are very cheap, and I can't stand synthetic cheap bedsheets. This hotel had bedsheets that looked nice. I've discovered a stain though, but it wasn't a problem for me as well.

Visiting Latvia and Riga many times in the past, I am used to Latvian hospitality and professionalism of the staff. But still again I was very pleased to see not only matching all the standards and expectations, but exceeding them. Pandemic times are not easy, but Monika's staff made my stay as comfortable as possible. And... The breakfast was fresh, hot, tasty and on time, but also surprised me with one of the best porridges I've ever eaten from New York to Tokyo, outstanding!

Once again thank you for making my trip and stay as easy as possible.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent.
We also had dinner on hotel restaurant one evening, and price/quality value was surpringly good.
Hotel terrace was especially beautiful.
Location is good, as it is easy to buy ticket for local transport from kiosk across the street, an trolleybus stop is about 200 meters from Hotel.
One minus comes from bed. Bed was not comfortable.

Very enjoyable stay, a short walk to the Old Town and excellent value for money. Reception staff were obliging and the sauna was good and included in the room price. The rooms were cleaned frequently and thoroughly, but they did occasionally forget to replace toilet paper and bin liners.
Overall a very pleasant stay and we would have liked to stay longer
Watch out for the statue of Monika in Reception and try and spot her chocolate!

This hotel is located in the stunning neighborhood of many beautiful Art Nouveau-style buildings, 15 minutes walk away from the Old Town. The hotel building is very striking from the outside. The interior is not as striking. Especially, the rooms would need refreshing starting with the carpeted floors.

We booked the best suite 'Superior Apartment'. It is located on the 2nd floor. This suite is very spacious. There is a huge bathtub and a separate shower. The corner bedroom is stunning with high ceilings and stucco decorations.

We had only one complimentary water bottle for two and only one coffee capsule for the espresso machine. Luckily, there was a water boiler and more instant coffee available.

The breakfast was quite average in the cramped space with two basketball teams eating at the same time. Some items were finished or not so good quality.

Our stay had a quite good value for the paid 170 euros considering the size of our room.

Nice room with a big very comfortable bed for a restful sleep. Beside the desk there is a big table in the room. For breakfast you can choose from an abundant list of items which in current pandemic time are prepared for you to a desired time on a tray. You can take your breakfast into the room or to the outside dining area. And:there is no limit to the number of items that you order for breakfast, as long as it fits on the tray. The outside dining area is very pleasant, as you can watch the park and the local life around the hotel without being directly exposed to the pubic.

We visited here with a group of 9 persons. Hotel has good facilities and a beautiful building with a top-notch location. There is certain old and classical charm in this hotel. All the Christmas decorations in the lobby made the hotel even more beautiful.

We had all types of rooms booked and they all are nice, especially the ones with a park view are so nice to stay in. I stayed in a corned suite with my wife and we had our own balcony. During the winter, it was not that much in use, but I can only imagine the wonderful add-on that would give during the summer.

The service was excellent, especially the housekeeping was always so nice to and they made sure we had everything perfectly in our rooms. Beds and pillows are comfortable, which is not always the case.

In general, the value for money you get from this hotel is high, and I can warmly recommend staying in Monika Centrum Hotel while in Riga.

Great hotel in the centre of Riga, free wifi, excellent breakfast an£ walking distance to all the museums and bars and restaurants.

Staff were friendly and let us store luggage in reception before check in allowing us to see the sights. Checkin was 14:00 which is reasonable and was painless.

The room was massive and had a minibar if you wanted to purchase any snacks ext. room was warm and lots of toiletries provided.

Breakfast was a buffet with lots to choose from and plenty of time to eat. Coffee and tea facilities in the room and not much noise during our stay. There are lifts and stairs to each floor and toilets near reception, there is also a bar situated opposite reception.

Thanks for everything.

Not all rooms had balconies, but I guess you just ask for a room with a balcony, and you'll get one. We didn't need any, - we didn't go to Riga to sit on a balcony, but to visit the nice city. To smoke, we just went down to the street.....
