This is not a hotel. It's just rooms. Cheap , clean and friendly. If you just want somewhere to lay your head it's perfect. You can't get even a coffee in the morning, there's no bar . Riga centre is 25 mins away, so be prepared!!

My friends and I spent here 3 nights and we enjoyed the whole experience. Staff was friendly and gave us good ideas how to live our days and nights. This hotel is not close to the city centre but you can reach it with bus and taxi. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was ok. Sincerely I suggest to choose... More

Hotel is good for a relaxing holiday, but it is a bit far away from the center. The rooms are clean. Unfortunately that there is no bar at the same hotel. Near the hotel is flowing the river so it is a nice place to take a walk.

Just come back from a visit to Riga and Tallinn, and stayed at the Toss for 3 nights. The hotel itself is located in the Latgales priekšpilsēta area of Riga, next door to a Bowling alley/ pool hall /restaurant complex (where the hotel takes its name), and is a mere 15 tram ride from the centre to stop Ķengaraga iela... Good hotel for that price. Even it is located in "bedroom community" it is quite easy to get to the city center. Furniture is Ok, nothing specific, but anyway it is enough to get rest and meet your friends in the room. Personal is kind and always glad to provide you with "touristic" information like public transport, interesting places around.... More

The hotel is situated several tram stops away from Riga Old Town and Central market (the tram stop is 5 min walk). Just steps away from the place is hotel's entertainment center (with bowling and pool tables) and one of famous LIDO restaurants. Room was big, light and clean but it was a little bit cool in early may. A... More

I stayed three nights at the Hotel Toss. The hotel is located in the southeastern suburbs of Riga, two blocks from a major tram stop. The ride to central Riga is exactly 20 minutes. The hotel is in a working class, predominantly Russian speaking suburb. Ethnic Latvians consider this dangerous, but to an outsider (I'm American) there was nothing scary... More

We struggled to find the place - we knew it was next to Lido restaurant but our mistake was getting off the tram a couple of stops early, close to the BIG Lido restaurant. After finding it, it was a great place for our city break base. Rooms fairly spartan, comfy beds, great modern bathrooms. Clean and modern building. Breakfast... More

Very clean and staff very polite. Breakfast basic but sufficent plenty of bread and coffee. Taxi from airport was £15 but ripped off on way back as it was £20 dispite having a set price on hotel otic board.
