Spent one night at the Augustine this weekend. Hotel is well located close to Rigas sights. Staff is very friendly and attentive. We traveled with dog and this hotel was perfect for that. Rooms are very basic. No fridge nor computer desk. Very small TV with mostly local programming. Beds are small yet comfortable. Breakfast is OK by all means....

we (the famility with kids 7-10y.o.) stayed there 2 times. there is average rooms (could say nothing bad about it) and normal breakfast. it takes 30 minutes to walk to the city center on foot. surroundings are calm, but also somewhat depressive. if you are not familiar with Riga, it's not too easy to get there without good navigation software.

I spent two nights at Hotel Augustine in December 2015. Here are my notes from my stay. Location A bit out of the way. You get the #6 tram (streetcar) from the Opera house in the city centre. It takes at about 15-20 minutes once on board. Then there is about 5 minute walk to the hotel. There's not much...

The hotel has an attractive traditional exterior but what lies behind seems to have been built or refurbished very recently, as everything is very fresh and clean, to the point of being almost clinical. The receptionist was very helpful, with excellent English. Our room (No 8) was not particularly big and storage space was limited, but we were only there...

Nice hotel on the suburb of Riga, good breakfast and dog friendly. Dogs could use garden when there were not many guests. Parking inside behind closed gate. Room spatial, but they did not have solution for summer heat.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Augstine hotel. It's a simple little hotel that offers great value, clean, warm rooms and very friendly service from the family that owns and runs it. Location is a little away from the city centre but very easy and quick to reach by the modern number 6 tram (get off at the 'Daugavas sporta...

This friendly hotel is situated in quiet calm place of Riga just few tram stops away from historic old town. We stayed in two-room apartment, large and light. The stuff was very hospitable and eager to help. No breakfast at this place but there is big kitchen with all necessary stuff and a fridge, so you can buy some food...

The hotel was quiet, clean, organized, and was run with efficiency and care by the proprietors. It is family owned. They had a great breakfast, with an espresso machine and full kitchen facilities so you could refrigerate and cook your own food. The rooms were fairly small, but very clean and were cleaned daily. There is a locked parking facility...
