From the citrus epsom bath that welcome us when we arrived weary from travel in Bihar, to the last reluctantly finished espresso by the pool moments before we left, this house felt like home and made our family time magical and restorative. The staff is a team in ways one rarely sees; attentive, insightful, discreet, and beautifully integrated with one another to meet our needs and whims. We invited friends to dine with us late one evening in the intimate dining room overlooking the lagoon-like water and had one of the most delicious and delightful evenings with wine, warm laughter, wonderful food and the glow of soft light. The place really felt like our own gracious home,
Open to our family friends. Quiet moments by the fountains and pool or in the garden, hand lit candles at nightfall around the property, gorgeous meticulously presented meals with vegan and other options, House of Grace was our retreat from the jolly Christmas holiday energies of this Great destination. It felt loved by its staff, we felt cared for without being fawned over. Perfect.

Our stay in this carefully designed boutique hotel was the crown of our india tour. The beauty of this place makes you want to not ever leave. The street next to the hotel and the lack of beach vanishes from your focus in this environment. There is everything you would care for, a spotlessly clean and stylish room with a comfortable bed and portuguese style boudoir bathroom, a pool embedded in warm wall colours and plants, excellent indian and european food ( my favourite dhal of the trip) and cocktails, discreet and friendly personnel. What made the difference was the General Manager who makes all your wishes come true. He seems to be connected to the best people in town to provide you the most exquisite experience, whether that is, a massage or cooking class or anything you just feel like. We are very grateful and recommend this special place with no restraint.

Me and my wife had a lovely four-night stay at this property in early November 2020. The experience begins right from when you arrive. Akash and his team do everything they can to make this feel like a home away from home. The food at the place is just too good. The love with which the food is made and served makes it tastier.
The pool at the center is nice and clean. Akash helped us hire a bike from the main market and that made our experience in Goa a lot of fun. The rooms are elegant, comfortable and spacious.
Will certainly want to go back here!

Behind a beautiful facade lay unfulfilled promises, empty plates and empty stomachs...You’d better have something in the fridge at home, before you think of a meal at amarpali
After much planning and coordinating my friends and I landed there from different cities with our families to celebrate New Year’s Eve .To our disappointment all that was promised to us was not delivered. Though we were asked to pay 100% advance for the discussed fixed menu the food and service was not even 20%.
Nobody should have to put this much effort and money to be sad.”

Home is always people, sometimes it's people and places. My husband and I chose Amrapali for your first Anniversary celebrations and we couldn't have made a better choice. The property itself is extremely beautiful and a delight to stay at. The people, the team, the food, the experience has been amazing and something that we will carry with us and deeply cherish. On our anniversary night, they organized a Barbeque near the poolside, a nice warm setup with candle lights and flowers- that evening was easily one of our most beautiful evenings. Akash, Piya, kaif, Dixit, Mua, Edwin, Simran, I hope I have covered them all, have been very hospitable and warm. If Goa, peace, serenity is what you are looking for, then Amrapali is truly going to make it magical for you. Thank you Team Amrapali.

Beautiful colonial Portuguese house with charming interiors. Its definitely a place to just chill for a few days away from the busy beach areas.
The food is good and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and owner friendly. There were good vegan options. You can make tea in the common areas yourself and they supply filtered water in rooms. I do support no plastic waste especially when you witness the amount dumped on the streets but it would be good to be able to refill our bottles with cold water. In a hotel this size that should be easy to do.
Overall if returning to Goa I would stay here again.

Lovely portuguese goan house with rooms set around the swimming pool. Old tiles lovely furnishings and comfortable beds and great shower. We only stayed one night after an afternoon arrival at the airport before heading off to south goa. Indian planes are often delayed so we thought a hotel near the airport was a good idea. I wish we had stayed for longer charming staff and very good food. Lots of different areas to sit.

The main road nearby did not affect our stay in any way as can not be seen or heard from rooms or pool area.

This is a negative review however hoping that the management takes the feedback positively. This hotel property had ticked all the right boxes for us. Great location & great food reviews we thought we were in for a great New Year night. Just like how the year 2020 looked at the beginning, our 31st evening had a great start with ample of parking space at the property. However I was surprised that there were no temperature checks at the entry. Lack of Covid SOPs. The poolside barbecue looked lovely & so did the table where we were seated. We all had worked up an appetite & were looking forward to a beautiful night but we were extremely disappointed. The food items on the Menu that we paid in advance for didn't make it to our table. We had pre ordered 4 pitchers of Sangria. By every hour the size of the pitcher grew smaller & our experience continued to get worse. They say 'Hospitality is simply an opportunity to show love & care' and I regret giving that opportunity to Amrapali. If you are someone who compromises on great food & service for great Instagram pictures I would highly recommend Amrapali. Just don't tag me. I am super pissed I wore a bra & stepped out that night.

If you want to be at a breezy cafe with a beautiful river view it is Cafe Amrapali. This was a few months ago I was enjoying my hot chocolate and fries with this amazing view. I am sure I want to visit this soon again.
