Nida is located on a sandy edge separating the Baltic Sea from a very large lagoon not far from the Niemen estuary and very close to the Russian border. Most travellers come by car crossing by ferry, for a few minutes, at Kleipedia, Memel when German, and drive along toward the stations along the coast. There are many B&B but... More

We did not eat in restaurant other than the good breakfast. The bedroom we had had a balcony overlooking garden & the edge of a forest. The staff were v helpful but had the same problem of others with wifi & was not charged therefore. Large parties of older German tourists seemed to be the majority of its customers. Nida... More

I stayed in this hotel and by coincidence the same room four years ago. Clearly the mattress, drapes or anything, including the linen have been updated. Quiet location, good breakfast and outdoor seating for the restaurant is a nice touch. TV is something out of the Soviet era. My iPad screen is larger, plus it has good color. It is... More

The Nerija is in a quiet location, rooms are ok, the young staff are lovely, but there are many irritating issues which make you think there is a stubborn owner and it needs a change. Firstly the wifi. As others have noted they charge you 1 euro a day for "Fast connection at the right price" which would be fair... More

I can agree with what many others already have written. The days of glory for this hotel have long passed. The room I had was large but there were stains on the linen as well as on the sofa. They still use CRT-TVs and there is cheap but slow and sometimes not working at all wifi. At least the one... More

Absolutely shocking service for the price they're charging. We only stayed there for one night - and thanks god! We booked 'lux' room but it didn't even look like an economy room - dark, in a desperate need of refurbishment, not cosy at all and with a stinking fridge. The atmosphere in the room was just horrible and our room... More

Location- Quiet - not near (or with a view of) the water, but well maintained garden and nice surrounding buildings, off the beaten track but you don't feel removed from the town in any way. No through traffic, few cars passing slowly to park. Food -Very good. We ate here twice and both times all of the dishes were well... More

We stayed for only one night, six people in three separate double rooms. None of the rooms had enough soap in the shower to actually allow even a single user to wash himself. The bed sheets were stained and, in one case, worn out to the point there were holes in them. The wifi (3litas/day) does not work above the... More
