Detailed Reviews
I have to thank Duncan and Elizabeth yet again for having the best caravan and camping site anywhere!!!! Myself and my wife and girls have just had another great weekend staying at the site. It is the cleanest and best kept site we have ever been to bar none. The new cover at the toilet block is just wonderful and so well made. The showers are very warm and powerful(£1.00)fee for 10mins but worth every penny as they are always spotlessly clean and lots of room to move above instead of some places I've been were they are cramped and no room to swing a cat. We have been using the site for years and it's a very safe site for kids to run around and play and a big plus 5min walk to the beach. A new addition is the ready meals we didn't try them this time but never say never and a very big selection for all the family. I can't fault the site on anything and that is the honest truth. Another plus is the prices are very reasonable as some places rip you off but not at Seaview. So well done Duncan and Elizabeth and keep up the good work. We will be back and hopefully very soon. Happy campers again

Booked for 1 night, arrived to a warm welcome from Duncan, and a good chat! Site is well-kept, facilities spotless. A short walk down the side of the site and you arrive on the beach with wonderful views. Note - cash-only payment, with shower tokens £1 for 10 minutes (more than enough for a nice long sluice!). Nice & peaceful site for those who value calm camping - recommended!

I really wish we had found Seaview caravan park sooner rather than by chance, we had initially been booked in elsewhere but a problem occurred at that site so after frantically phoning around and by the greatest of hospitality the owners Duncan and Elizabeth managed to squeeze us in. Upon arrival we couldn't believe our luck, what an amazing picture perfect site this is, the cleanest of showers/toilets, spacious pitches, beautiful views, great walks and the owners are the nicest people we have ever met, Seaview is most definitely our favourite caravan site in the whole of Scotland.

Turned myself and my pregnant wife away just because he clearly didn’t like the look of us or our camper van, even though we were booked on the site for that night.
Owner was a complete snob. Won’t be back.

Response from Duncan MacKellar, Owner at Seaview Caravan & Motorhome Site
Responded 3 Sept 2021
Seaview Caravan Park is closing down for good come end September 2021, due to many people not being honest with regards to the size and number of people coming and people not turning up after they phoned to book. This Gentleman arrived with a Mercedes Lorry. We are all living in mad mad times. So I am closing down and getting some sheep. Baa bye.

Arrived at Seaview whilst on our first ‘Campervan holiday’ and what a great find it was. Duncan the owner has an eye for detail and the grounds are very well kept, including the driveway to the site with all the quirky old farm machinery.
We hadn’t booked, as with most of our trip we just turned up and hoped for the best for availability for the night, no problems on this occasion, nice hard standing spot with electric hook-up,and a stunning view out to sea.
The toilet/shower facilities on this site are second to non, kind of what you’d expect in a B&B or hotel, very clean and well maintained and no smells, like you find on some sites 🤢
The shower cubicles are huge with loads of room to leave your clothes without them getting wet, the cost is £1 for 10 minutes, more than enough for a decent shower, and quite powerful too.
The toilet block was also immaculate, with hand gels/sanitisers available for use.
There is a path directly from the site down to the beach.
We will definitely be back in the future.

Yet again me and my family have spent time at this superb campsite just outside Oban. The couple who own it and run it Duncan and Elizabeth are such a lovely couple who make the site run like clockwork and keep it totally spotless at all times. The views from the site are totally beautiful and we had a wonderful week with the weather and friends joining us for the weekend. Being totally honest with you all. I don't know of a cleaner more organised site in Scotland. Every other campsite could learn a thing or two about running a campsite by taking the time to see Duncan at work. Always smiling and nothing is to much bother. Every camper has to experience Seaview to get the real deal. 10 out of 10 and we will definitely be back again. 😁😁😁

Only been here a few days and we are so glad we booked 9 nights. The site is truly outstanding. Family-owned and so, so friendly. Spotless toilets and superb roomy showers. Added bonuses of sea views from every pitch, loads of space per pitch, handy fridges & freezer & microwave for communal use. 5 minute walk to a lovely beach. Shop just down the road. Perfectly placed for exploring the West Coast and islands. Views to die for. Thank you Duncan. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here last weekend. We’d been to the nearby and stunningly beautiful beach many times. The campsite is fairly large, not boggy and being near the sea the midges absent. Owner very friendly and cooking area and showers very modern and clean. Beautiful views to sea. Loved this place.

Just spent a night at this exceptional site. Beautiful views over Tralee Bay, a short walk to a sandy beach (almost deserted), local chippy nearby. The owner has given his site the 5 star treatment. Toilets and showers are immaculate. You can buy frozen curries on site and reheat them eat in his small dining area, great if arriving unprepared. £18 for our campervan, plus 2 people and £1 for the showers. This site is a real treasure and we can't wait to return.

Don’t go to Seaview. North Ledaig in Connell is a much nicer site. The man whom owns Seaview site is abusive
Yes it does
However we didn’t need it
Hope you enjoy your stay
