We chose this hotel close to the harbour and the Museum of Arts. The room was very nice and in excellent condition. All over the hotel there is Danish Design. The breakfast was perfect in our taste with good bread and also grapefruit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had many fine walks in the beautiful city of Skagen. The weather was Sunny with a fine breeze - probably ordered by the cunning staff for our visit.
The hotel is nice, the room adequate and very clean, the staff is helpful and the wifi is stable. The breakfast is good, however, taking into consideration the price (at least at peak season), one might expect a little more variety.
Nice hotel. The hotel is in great location just only few minutes walking distance from train station and the main town of Skagen. Very convenient location. Check in was very easy, staffs are very friendly, accommodating and helpful to provide more information around the city. The hotel is clean and has a good breakfast. The room is basic but nice and has a nice bathroom. For sure I'll stay again this place.
I spent three days in Skagen enjoying the mountain bike trails and the nature. Hotel Petit's staff went out of their way to ensure I had the best experience. They succeeded and I'm likely to come back.
We stayed for two weeks. The room was nice and spacey, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was quite big. There was also a small desk with a chair. Breakfast was pretty good with plenty of choices. The person in the reception was very friendly and helpful, with great tips. The location is great, you're pretty much in the middle of the city, next to the main street. However, you're also close to bars that are open late into the night and play music loudly (past midnight, middle of summer). The walls are also thin so if your neighbors like to stay up late talking/watching TV, you're out of luck. The shower had very poor pressure, and it went up and down as well.
This is a lovely hotel in a wonderful location. We loved this hotel with its friendly, helpful owners. The rooms are clean and the hotel itself is well--maintained. Breakfast was brilliant (we particularly liked the warmed liver pate). If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault! One thing I would say, though, is that if you have limited mobility, it would be wise to request a ground-floor room, since the staircase is steep.
Skagen in January is not busy to say at least Was greeted nicely when I arrived, helped with the suitcase to my room. Got a big room which is very nice, good for a family. Big bathroom and cool shower. Breakfast was OK
We stayed here for three nights over a very busy weekend. Great location as mentioned by others. Near rail station, near shopping street but far enough away not to be bothered by the (nightly?) live music at various venues. We had a large bright room with desk and chairs. Plenty of hanging space but a couple of extra drawers for clothes would have been useful. Shower curtain with no separate tray (i.e. more of a wet room) but plenty of space so the rest of the bathroom remained essentially dry. Friendly staff and, as other reviews have said, great breakfast and very well serviced (continual topping up of items to ensure no one missed out of anything).
Very nice clean small hotel close to downtown Skagen. Rooms small, very bright and clean."It must be the light in Skagen." Within walking distance to the beaches and downtown pedestrian street, restaurants, galleries and lots of shops. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very close to the top of Jylland, Grenen. Great breakfast Buffet.
Located just 200metres away from Skagen station, prime location for travelling towards Skagen harbour and Grenen. Staff were organised & friendly. Hotel room does the basics very well, slept well in the comfy bed and bonus for the free coffee/tea offered at the vending machine. Overall a delightful stay, value for money hotel!!
