The hotel is nice - comfortable beds, fun rooms with a traditional "cave" feeling, really good breakfast. The patron wasn't the most friendly guy we met in greece, but that said, he was never unpleasant either, and he did upgrade our room free of charge because the hotel was so quiet. The hotel is a long cobblestoned walk from the... More

This hotel is very charming, it's all the way at the end of the main "street". The first Malvasia you see is not the correct one, keep going until you cannot anymore. It doesn't say "new Malvasia" it says Malvasia hotel just like the first one. The view from the reception/cafe area is incredible. We were upgraded to a different... More

We stayed here for three nights in August. Got upgraded to room (number 4) with tiny balcony and beautiful sea view. Enjoyed the peace, room tidyness, friendly staff and generous continental breakfast of this hotel. Hotel location is at the far end, hence worth paying for 5 EUR to the guys at the gate with wheelbarrow to take luggage to... More

Monemvasia is tiny with all the buildings huddled close together on the hillside. The hotel is right at the end of the main street so you get peace and quiet, however it is a struggle with your luggage over the cobble stones if you are not that fit! We loved our room which was high ceilinged, white-walled with light wood... More

Nicely restored castle house with great views over the sea and castle walls. Good breakfast and nice cafe with outdoor seating. Situated at the end of the village in a quite location (except possibly for the bar downstairs, if you stay on the first floor). Pleasurable 300m walk from the castle entrance on a cobblestone street, so consider hiring a... More

First of all it is located in the castle of Monemvasia. This castle is something unique, in the whole world maybe, it seems like living many years ago in ancient Greece. There is a small village retro, traditional restaurants and coffee bars. All rental departments look traditional and I suggest this one called Malvazia. Prefer the rooms that own private... More

Frist of all: good luck with communications: we were trying to figure out our week on the P. Peninsula and it took forever to get information from the hotel. When our E-mails went unanswered, we had our current hotel phone them - and they couldn't reach anyone! As a result our entire week was scrambled. The hotel itself is nice... More

We cherished our room here. It was a perfect respite from which to enjoy Monemvasia Castle. We were a party of three and one bed was downstairs and one upstairs, providing nice separation. The hotel is constructed from stones from the surrounding area which was aesthetic, it had all the modern luxuries and yet was inside the castle. Our terrace... More
