Akaroa is a beautiful place to visit and I highly recommend staying at Onuku. The hostel itself is clean and tidy. Great facilities. Lovely staff. Idyllic hilltop setting with amazing views. I liked the farm animals that roam around the place too. We had a fabulous 2 night stay including doing the dolphin watching which was fun and well organised....

Lovely place to stay. I've stayed here many times, and while it's grown over that time it's still a wonderful, peaceful place to be. The scenery, views, and bird-life are all a part of what makes this place so great.

Such a unique location in the hill, surrounded by flowers and wildlife. Wonderful kitchens, and bathrooms. The star gazer huts are so original! The staff is very warm and friendly. Such a fun place to be!

Stayed in the campervan paddock overlooking the bay - area is quite large so campers spread out, get your own space. Great views of the bay, paddocks behind with sheep (who even...
