What a gem. So close to Oneroa and it's shops, cafe's and beaches. The views from the apartments over the beach and bay, even in the wet weather, was superb. The gardens are pretty and have numerous areas to sit and take in the views. Rooms are reasonably sized with all you need for a day, week or month. Ideal... More

We decided to stay a second night on Waiheke island and with the excellent tourist guides help at the ferry terminal. We found this gem. I think we must be the luckiest travellers in NZ. The accommodations are so great, we cancelled supper in a resto and just got great NZ cheeses and a Waiheke rosé to watch the waves.... More

Loved our stay here, such a great spot and great accommodation. Fabulous views and SO close to town & beach but still quiet.Well equiped, great condition, very clean. Everything we needed. And Waiheke Island is a slice of paradise. Two things worth knowing about this accommodation. A couple of the photos were taken from the top balcony which is not... More

Met at ferry by Mandie who was so friendly. Kowhai Apartment absolutely superb with comprehensive facilities. However only one night available, which was such a shame. Best apartment we have ever stayed in and would love to return in the future. Would recommend wholeheartedly. Met owners who were very pleasant. Superb views from decking which was equipped with sun loungers... More

We stayed in a lovely studio apartment that overlooked a terraced patio with several eating areas. The view of Oneroa Beach was so beautiful - boats and ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing. Sitting on the patio, you can see many different types of birds come to sing in the trees and play in the bird... More

We stayed in the Kowhai apartment this time and it was a bit smaller with no large lounge but has 2 lovely sitting areas and did have a bit more privacy. It also has a fantastic view from both the sitting rooms. The hosts are lovely and very helpful with transport. This time we stayed longer and were able to... More

My partner and I stayed for three days from November 9 and felt right at home immediately. We were picked up by the owners and were left to our own devices from then on to enjoy the local restaurants and cafés. The position of the building couldn't be better, right in the centre of Oneroa with the bus and shops... More

We stayed in the Fig Tree unit and it was amazing - wish we could have stayed longer (and next time we will). A short walk down to the beach, plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as the bus stop right there. The apartment was a good size for a couple and the bed was comfortable. There is... More

This accommodation went beyond our expectations! We wanted to book the Fig Room but 8 months out, it wasn't available for our two night stay. So we reserved the Kowhai room. Believe me, it doesn't matter which one you stay in, it is perfection. Located right in the middle of the only town, a two minute walk to grocery, restaurants,... More

We stayed in the Fig Tree unit at SeaDream last night (16/2/15). The location is superb. Although only a short walk down the drive from the road, the only sounds we heard throughout our stay were the birds and the ocean. We arrived off the ferry early, around 10.45. Although access to the unit was listed as 1.00 pm, we... More
