My husband and I had a really lovely stay with Pedro and Teresa. The room was comfortable and Pedro and his family made us feel very much at home. The family were very helpful in making recommendations (and bookings) for things to see and do in and around Trinidad. Teresa also cooked us one of our best meals on our... More

Pedro is an awesome host that you will make you feel very welcome. Always helpful. The location is very centric as well. Just 2 mins away from the main square where you can find restaurants and pubs! Breakfast is very nice and you have the possibility to ask for dinner. There is a guy taking care of car if needed... More

I booked my stay for 1 night in casa de Pedro y Teresa in advance, basing on recommendations of a host in Habana. Upon arrival i understood, that 1 day in Trinidad will be not enough. And there was no problem to prolong my staying with Pedro and Teresa. I loved the house bcs of its super colonial spirit. The... More

I stayed at this casa solo for 2 nights from 1-3 Dec 2015. This was my 3rd home stay in my first visit to Cuba, after Santiago and Camagüey. The owner and their son Pedro are friendly, which are common in all casa. Pros: The casa is located on the first house next to the bus station. I had the... More

The experience of staying in a private home in Cuba should be experienced by everyone and, if it is the Casa Pedro y Teresa, will be even better! Pedro, Teresa and their son (also Pedro) are a traditional Cuban family and perfect hosts! They give tips on Trinidad and are very friendly, helping in whatever you need. The house has... More

I spent three nights at the casa with two friends from November 26th to 29th 2015. The family are incredibly welcoming and kind, eager to help with whatever you may need and give tips about the city. The casa is a lovely home, with rustic charm and a lovely terrace where we enjoyed having our meals. Location is very central... More

Tere and Pedro's casa particular is the best place to stay in Trinidad. We showed up without a reservation and were greeted with a nice smile from our friendly host, Tere. The room was big, clean, had a private bathroom, and was air conditioned. It had plenty of space and pretty comfortable beds. Both Tere and Pedro are very hospitable... More

I stayed with Pedro, Teresa and their family for a whole week. I cannot truly describe how enriching their hospitality was to my experience in Cuba. They have wonderful conversation, terrific recommendations to move around and get to know Trinidad better. The breakfast they offered saved my life (and the dinners they prepare are also incredible). I highly endorse them.

We spend 3 nights there in June 2015 in the middle of our road trip all around Cuba. We loved that casa and this family! The place is a beautiful old house with a perfect location (a second from the Viazul bus station and 5 min walk from the plaza Mayor and all most interesting places). Teresa and Pedro as... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Colonial house built in early 1700, located in the historic center of the city of Trinidad, steps from the main square and the museums. Its original owners were wealthy Real Alvarez family of Spanish origin. The sale of the house has a history turned into legend ... In early 1900 it was sold to the Carles family of Catalan origin, their descendants now live. Maintains its colonial structure: nice living room, corridor, courtyard garden, backyard brick and the ruins of the old garage, with an arc that recalls the ancient grandeur of the era. The house retains the floor of marble from Italy, its 5 bedrooms rooms retaining original windows and doors to the garden, rooms for rent have private baths (water 24 hours at different temperatures). ... more   less
