We had a marvelous visit at El Patio! It was an oasis and unbelievably beautiful place - especially the gardens in the back. Manuel made us a wonderful drink when we arrived, allowed us to pay the next afternoon since we hadn't gone to the bank yet and gave us wonderful recommendations and directions. It was a truly amazing visit.... More

Manuel's place is absolutely amazing! The preserved home if very beautiful, and the patio is covered in a canopy of trees and vines. This place made our time in Trinidad very nice, and Manuel is a great, accommodating host. It's in a good, walkable location, and I can't say enough about the beauty of the casa and patio.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2016 and couldn't have had a better time. The host and staff there are incredibly friendly, the space is beautiful. This was by far the best casa we stayed in, in all of Cuba. They also have an awesome roof deck with views of the city and mountains, perfect... More

Casa Colonial was simply magical. Manuel and his family have created an amazing place to stay out of a 18th century casa, complete with antiques from the era. Out the back is a wonderful garden courtyard where you can relax in a hammock under a mango tree. The rooms are good, air con and en suit, and the food was... More

Staying at Manuel's place in Trinidad was just wonderful! Everything in the house is kept in colonial style and the green, lush backyard is like an oasis. A solid breakfast is served on the patio, among mango trees and lots of other green plants and bushes. This is definitely a place we would visit again if we go back to... More

The patio was beyond beautiful. Also probably the best breakfast we had in Cuba. Rooms cozy and quiet. Even A/C was silent which rarely happens. Manuel was an extremely friendly person. Ideal location. This house is for sure much more interesting than the Museum of Colonial Art in Havana. Greatly recommended!

We only stayed for one night at Manuel's house but we had amazing time! The room and the garden were beautiful and Manuel is a very helpful kind and down to earth guy! My wife, son (age15) and I spent a few days in dec 2015 in this both beautiful and cosy casa. The hosts invited us to drinks and chats before dinner. We had some really tasteful dinners in the wonderful garden. Like a fairytail!! We are sorry it took us a few months to write this comment. We strongly recommend you... More

We spent a few days in this casa in Dec 2014. The rooms are spacious, clean and with nice furniture. The garden is outstanding and you can spend many hours just relaxing there or study the different kinds of flowers. We wew invited for drinks with the very nice hosts, Manuel and his family. Manuel and his family have turned their gorgeous old colonial home into a most inviting casa particular, with perfectly appointed rooms, comfortable beds, lovely antiques and an amazing patio garden. I can only imagine how much work it takes to maintain, but it's certainly worth it. Just magnificent! And the casa is in a perfect location in the city center... More
