After a red eye from New York, via Panama, we arrived to the hustle and bustle of the Havana airport, happy to eventually find the driver Bernardo arranged for us. 4+ hours later, we arrived in sleepy Trinidad, but being the dark little town it is, we could not see much. Bernardo was waiting for us on the stoop in...

Five of us recently rented this house. It was excellent -- comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast (thanks Vitalia for everything), and a good location. We got this through airbnb, which is catching on in Cuba. We loved it and would return in a minute.

A nice and comfortable house, close to the city center and all the other attractions in Trinidad. The rooms are big with huge beds and all the rooms have beautifull terraces. Bernardo an his help made our stay even more comfortable. I would pick without hesitation casa Bernardo again!

We arrived at Bernardo's without a reservation and were welcomed in. Bernardo allowed us to check in at 8am, which was greatly appreciated after an overnight bus, and then checkout late on our final day. Breakfast was good and the room perfectly adequate for our few days in Trinidad. We didn't spend a lot of time with Bernardo but he...

Such a relaxed casa! Great staff, nice breakfasts, good location, and all the privacy you need. What do you want more? :) Casa is nicely decorated, and the room was clean. There were both air condition and the fan in the room.

Casa Bernardo provided a good location and comfortable stay during a recent trip to Trinidad, Cuba. The rooms had character and the balcony outside our room served as a great place for us to eat our delicious breakfast, which Bernardo and his team cooked for us each morning.

Comfortable ,clean and peaceful casa. Perfect location in a nice area 5 minutes walk from the old town and about 10 minutes from the bus terminus. We were in the ground floor room, which is considered the worst on this website, but we found this very good indeed. It is true that the room is quite small but the bed...

We arrived at 7 pm after a 5 hour taxi journey and received a nice welcome and the offer of a home made dinner. The bedroom reached up a narrow staircase was large with 2 double beds and a decent bathroom. Spartan but fine, and within a couple of minutes of the town which was good.. Bernardo was friendly, and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On this, the most quiet central street in town (Chinchiquira is a dead-end street - parallel to main street Maceo - which passes by the town's City Hall Square), Bernardo - who acquired experience on a nearby Ancon beach hotel - "We rent three bedrooms with terraces and balconies decorated with plants and with great privacy, retaining its charm with frescoed ceilings and wooden roof tiles and furnished with ancient pieces of great historical value. The first bedroom (Habi1) is up a first flight of a narrow stairway from the living room to a two-bedded room on the front of the casa with ensuite (spotless and all white) and arched doors to its own balcony overlooking a short stretch of Chinchiquira. From the back of the casa, behind the kitchen, a corkscrew stairway leads up to the third ac bedroom (Habi 3) located back of the casa with its private terrace (overlooking Sarahi's patio next door), fridge, table, chairs and ornemental plants where guests can enjoy breakfasts and dinners. On the same floor is the second ac bedroom (Habi2) with both a front end and a back end balcony, two double beds, fridge and fan, dresser. Commode and antique beds. Even further up (!) A sun roof.
