As many people, I like the hotel location, view and room size. Bar and pool game is nice too. But the breakfast isn't great at all and limited in terms of places. I would advise to not breakfast there but outside.

This hotel is great! The breakfast is outstanding! I would recommend staying here when you visit DC. The staff is so pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean and the bed is extremely comfortable.

The hotel and staff were very nice; although the rooms are small it served it's purpose for a 3 day business trip. I enjoyed walking on the Wharf but found the prices at the restaurants there to be excessive for the quality of food. I'd thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary

Excellent stay. Had a family suite for holiday from Australia. Location is excellent with being on the river, lots of night life, food places, fish market and within walking distance to National mall. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.

We had a group of five, so the easiest option for us was a taxi. It was quick, easy, inexpensive. But once you're at the hotel, the free shuttle bus is a great way to get to the National Mall area. And as others said, the Metro stop isn't too far from the hotel.

I seriously doubt that the pool will be open - due to the fact that it is a rooftop and the weather is very unpredictable this time of year in DC. It's probably in your best interest to call the Hyatt House directly. Sorry I could not be of further assistance.
