I stay here every other year for a conference. The hotel is well appointed and the service quite good. Rooms are plush and with lots of amenities. Service is thoughtful and attentive. The health club is decent for cardiovascular (several ellipticals and treadmills) but only serviceable for weights - they have about 6-8 machines and some dumbbells but there is...

As you would expect many if the elements of our short stay were perfectly fine. Good rooms overlooking the river, comfortable beds and courteous service at all times. Just a few niggles (when compared with, say, Paris and Las Vegas MO's. Although clearly a quiet time the food service in the restaurant at breakfast was a little slow - although...

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazingly helpful. The rooms are large and I had a gorgeous view of the Washington Monument. The location is about an 8-minute walk to the Smithsonian metro stop - very convenient. There is a starbucks and sandwich shop that are located in the area. Other than that, you have to either metro...

We had a great stay. The hotel is in a great location, just a convenient walk or short cab ride to many local attractions. The Mandarin is a very plush hotel, my only regret is that we couldn't stayed longer.

Frankly, this is what I expected from this hotel . Excellent service at the front door, at the check-in and in the restaurant. The lobby is not as extravagantly beautiful as their properties in Bangkok and Hong Kong, but very nice is a more sedate way. My room was also understated and comfortable, but the bathroom is top notch.

I stayed at the Mandarin for two nights while attending a business conference. The location at the end of the mall with easy waking access to many monuments would be great for tourists. My room was large by DC standards and luxuriously appointed. Hotel staff were warm and helpful. Highly recommend!
