We have stayed all over D.C. but never had such excellent access to the most important tourist spots until we selected the Hyatt Regency. Walking distance to the capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Smithsonian, Union Station, Newseum, Post Office Museum, and many more. Staff were friendly and helpful and lots of interesting conferences and events were going on during...

Conference visit of six days. My first night was on a $260 "business rate" that included breakfast and a free clothes press. I am attaching a photo of the shirt I sent out for pressing as it looked when it came back. To add insult to injury, they charged me extra for both my breakfast and the pressing service, and...

Stayed at this hotel Valentines weekend 2016 and had an excellent stay. The location was ideal for our trip to the Capitol and the Supreme Court. The room was lovely and the price was reasonable as booked through part of a vacation package with flights. Would certainly stay here again on my next trip to DC.

Well, there was no hot water to take a bath after a long flight. The heater in my room was very noisy. It woke me up several times during the night so I had to turn it off. The restaurant charged $20 for a very mediocre omelette which was swimming in oil. The location is good, although you will have...

Stayed here 3 nights for a conference. Was not impressed. I asked for a quiet room and was given one that is listed as quiet - an atrium view on the seventh floor. I could easily hear the air conditioning units outside and could hear footsteps and other noises from the room above and the hallway. "Atrium view," by the...

This is a large chain hotel so it is what you expect. That's not bad but it's not an outstanding place to stay. The staff were generally helpful. It is quite expensive as are many hotels in around the Capitol. Room temperature control was very slow to respond and very loud.

The hotel has wonderful service, the room was beyond comfortable...the only concern this trip was with the catering. First, the lunch was poorly labeled. I have few food issues, but nothing along the lines of a severe food allergy. I know too many people that could have been terribly sick, injured or worse if they had eaten something on the...

Dear tcj615, Thank you for sharing your comments with us. We are glad you enjoyed your comfortable room and that you received excellent service throughout your stay. We fully understand your concern regarding the lack of allergen information on the labels accompanying food choices. This Hyatt is a very good choice for visiting DC and being near many visitor sites. Our room was OK, standard in size, but no fridge or bar. It came with comp Starbucks coffee. Other than that no frills. Valet parking, only option, is $ 56 per night. The lobby area is spacious and somewhat comfortable with a mix of...
