What a great hotel! My daughter suggested it to me and I love that they allow small pets. The service was impeccable! We enjoyed Off the Record...great bar and food. Lots of history and very comfortable bed.

The Hay-Adams is the type of luxury hotel you hope to stay in while in Washington DC. It has lots of history with an old world haunting feeling. The rooftop view of the white house is amazing in the morning and in the evening. Hay-Adams was built in 1928 in Italian Renaissance style and it's gorgeous.

If my bathroom was not the size of a small closet I would have given 5 stars. Very disappointed about the bathroom but this is a older property and I am sure there are limitations. Had a suite with amazing view of the White House. Great location. 5 Star customer service.

Stayed one night. Got in about 10pm had a quick bite at the bar. Good food poor service. Room very old. Could hear the person above me walk around all night. The trash truck came outside my window at 2am. No coffee in room. Coffee service downstairs is over at 7:30. Great location.

Amazing service - extremely friendly and helpful! You can't beat the location and a view of the White House from your room or while having a cup of coffee at breakfast is simply amazing! This is simply one of the nicest trips we have had.

The hotel team is just excellent - everybody I interacted with was always smiling and in a good mood, being eager to help. There was one specific lady at the door who was always so happy that is was contagious. Cannot start a bad day with that smile. Thank you. The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distances...

Thank you for a wonderful long weekend! All staff members were welcoming, courteous, and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Our room was spacious with tasteful decor. I LOVED the little wooden panda on the bed stand! Location cannot be beat- five minutes walk from the metro and within close view of the White House and the Washington Monument. We...

The hotel was great. Service was amazing. Food was amazing. Entire staff was perfect. Location is excellent staff made everything easy. Bar tenders were a bit slow at "off the record". Would have liked to know the parking cost up front. $59 per night surprised me considering the room rate. Rooms are in need of a decorating upgrade.

This hotel provided a welcoming retreat on our special occasion. Our room was elegant and comfortable. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and friendly. The food was outstanding. Our table for dinner overlooked the White House which enhanced our eating experience. We recommend the Hay-Adams Hotel for any occasion.

Great hotel perfect location right across from the White House and next door to Saint John's Church. The people were friendly and helpful. The personal tour guide was knowable and went out of his way to make the 3 day tour special.
