Some of the outlets did not work, door jam to bathroom was rotted away, bed was lumpy, lamp shade was damaged and bent. TV was old big tube type. However, it did work. They did provide a coffee maker that worked. Breakfast provided was adequate.

I have been occasionally staying at Marina Village Inn for over a decade. This formerly quaint motel has slipped into disrepair. Upon arrival, the window in my room was open. The latch on my room's door did not function properly. Upon arrival, no towels were present in my room. At the front desk, the blinds were bent and twisted; junk...

Enjoyed my stay on the marina in Alameda--quiet and easy. Great staff looking after me. Then an easy ride to Oakland airport for my flight out. Overall a great value for money and knowing that you are staying a locally owned hotel.

If you are young and just party and don't care about much then go for it. Otherwise you will be just fine with the hotel but always give credit where due maintenance for his help but to no resolve and the weekday morning clerk/early afternoon. There is a male clerk on weekends late night that sleeps at the front desk.

Hotel is very comfortable and has excellent view of sailboats, etc. the staff is very professional & helpful. The hotel includes full breakfast in morning and the surrounding area is peaceful where you can walk.

We have been coming here at least once a year for about 5 years and every year the place gets dirtier and more rundown. Despite the view and location we are not likely to come again. Staff is accommodating, the free breakfast is nice, but the rooms are increasingly degraded and very dirty. Our first room had no working AC/heater...

It seems all rooms have own balcony when you look tru introduction, but no. Breakfast service is first shock in the very first day of your trip, since makes you feel that you're in the kindergarten. They don't clean your room during day and they claim they already did when you asked for, so staff are liar. Swimming pool is...

I don't have the words to properly describe what a dump this place is! The Oak-SF area was sold out when I was there and thus was the closest hotel I could find for where I needed to be. I told my co-workers it reminded me of a set in a Tarantino movie, and I expected to see bloody body...

The ironing board had sticky residue that transferred to my clothes upon use of the iron, ruining them. No resolution was offered by the staff, which was unsurprising considering the glowering demeanor of the man at the front desk. I do not recommend staying here. Also, the plastic sheets were itchy and supremely uncomfortable.

Although the location is amazing, I cannot express same feelings with operation of this beautiful boutique hotel. Housekeeping was awful, They didn't stopped by and emptied trash cans, changed or washed dirty coffee cups. When I complained on this, the guy on front desk checked the list and told me that it was looking your room's cleaning has been done...
