One of our favorite hotels but under heavy construction. Believe it or not, California does have a winter so the fact that the pool is closed isn't really that big of a deal for us. The noise wasn't that bad for us either. One of the the things that bothered us about this stay is the way the construction people...

It pains me to say, but I was pretty disappointed with our stay. The hotel itself is nice. The lobby is big. But it's not that "grand". I guess I expected more and for the price should get more. You obviously pay for the Disney name. Everything here is crazy expensive. The hotel was just not worth the cost though....

Make no mistake- this hotel is expensive. It is not worth the money you pay, even with the annual pass discount. The pools were being refurbished (there was a shuttle to the Disneyland hotel). The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the balcony was great. But what almost makes up for it is the 10 feet it is away from...

This is the third or fourth time I have stayed at the hotel. Location is incredible. Staff was helpful in extending our stay. It is very expensive and always has been. That being said they are freshening it up. It needs it. Bathrooms are not up to standards for 700$ a night. If you want convenience it can't be beat...

I stay at a lot of nice hotels so I am not afraid to spend the bucks but this hotel was highly overrated.... Both of my kids stayed in separate rooms( they each had 2 children with them) and had numerous issues with their rooms...phone not working, no warm water at 7:30AM, beds were very uncomfortable and service was VERY...

I don't know what happened with Disney. The Hotel is expensive but thinking it would be convenient and a Disney property thought it would be well worth the price. But, immediately upon arrival I was abruptly made aware that something is definitely gone wrong here. The bell service at curbside was rude and when I asked the bags not be...

I have stayed at the Grand Californian a total of 4 times and each time it has been as good as the last. The hotel is due for some renovations (which have been started) but the maintenance on the property is top notch. From the moment you enter the grand lobby you know you are in for an excellent stay....

We had a broken iron and I called the Operator two separate times to request a replacement be brought up to our room. It never came. I even said this is urgent for a meeting I need to be ready for and they never showed up. I was beyond disappointed that they ignored my request completely and it was THEIR...

What a beautiful hotel. It was so convenient to walk out of the hotel and be in either Disneyland or California Adventure in 10 minutes! The beds were comfortable and every night they would turn down the bed and leave us a sweet treat. The hotel had a lodge feel which was I found relaxing.

We have stayed at the Grand Californian multiple times and have never been disappointed. We love everything about this resort property:the feel, the decor, the room set-up, the proximity, the staff. It is definitely the best place to stay at the Disneyland Resort, in our opinion.
