Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Desert Palm hotel was the best in everyway. The staff from the front desk, housekeeping, to the breakfast buffet was excellent. We travel alot and was pleasantly surprised at the level of detail put into making our stay great. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Long lines for rides with over 1 hour wait times at Disney made the pool and hot tub a welcome option to salvage our trip.

We were so excited about our stay at Desert Palms, however, there was nothing exceptional about our stay. The room was a good size and comfortable. However, the walls were paper-thin and it was s loud, with many families who were up early and were loud at night time too. The free buffet breakfast was average and nothing special. The hotel staff did not give welcoming vibes. Overall, would not go back there and would not recommend any of our friends to stay there.

Room was clean and smelled clean. Love that the sink is separate from the toilet and shower. Stayed in room 116, the only problem was we were located right beside a exit and it would slam shut every time someone came in or out. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Beds are comfortable and the family suites are pretty quiet.Breakfast is pretty good and a nice way to start the day.We had to deal with a sidewalk preacher on a bullhorn across the street and a Gaza protest along with a number of homelessness on a very easy walk from the hotel to the parks

This hotel is very easy to get to the parks and down town Disney it’s a very short 15 minute walk they keep the building clean your rooms are very nice and tidy. They have a warm breakfast every morning that fills you up before you hit the parks. The pool was nice relaxing after a long day at the park, and the staff helps you with almost any question you can come up with.

Found dried, crusty vomit in the bed. The most foul thing I can think of. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they acted completely unapologetic and treated me as if I was lying. I will never stay in this hotel again in my life. Disgusting.

We stayed as a family of 6. I requested a crib twice over the phone and once in the email and there was no crib upon arrival and no crib until about 1 hour afterwards. The hotel house keeping staff mistakenly threw out my laundry on the first day. No one tried offered me anything or even bothered to call me once they heard from the house keeping staff. I had to call the desk and ask if they had found my items. They had told us the room was cleaned on the 4th day, but this happened on the 1st night. On the 4th day, my room had not been cleaned. I had to call and request my room to be cleaned. They had cleaned my room the 3rd night. The king bed was so uncomfortable. My husband said it was fine, but I slept so tense and stiff. The pillows were very thick. They gave us 3 face cloths for a family of 6, and I had to call and request more a few times. The breakfast was ok, pretty standard. They had apples and large oranges, but no other fresh fruit for the day. They advertised breakfast until 10:30 but we had the lights turn off on us one morning when we were there at 10:15. The room or lobby does not have any lids for cups, napkins, cutlery etc, so when we did order food we were struggling for the kids. The hotel was a good location.

My coworker and I stayed at the Desert Palms while attending the NAMM Show. The hotel was extremely conveniently located in relation to the Anaheim Convention Center. The room was clean, and the hotel was generally in good shape. The only downside in this regard was the rather annoying, high-pitched whine the refridgerator would make when running, but it was not enough to drive me to ask maintenance about it. The free breakfast was convenient, and definitely good enough for anyone with a typical diet (my coworker ate breakfast out because she has several food sensitivities). The fridge and microwave in the room were extremely convenient for leftovers and snacks! Overall, I felt the rate per night was fair given the area, and would definitely retain this on my list of possible hotels for future conference attendance.

We stayed at this hotel with our 3 children during a Disneyland vacation. It was a good location at .5 mile walk from the Disney entrance. The property was clean and well maintained. The 2 bedroom suite fit our family well. Unfortunately the room was very loud. We could hear every foot step from the room above and everyone that walked by our door. We were also by an elevator which rubbled and made a lot of noise day and night making it difficult to get good sleep.

I had a wonderful stay here. The front desk staff was very helpful and kind. They let us park there early before checkin so we didn't have to pay for the Downtown Disney parking. And upon checkin, they upgraded our room! The rooms were sparkling clean and their above and beyond service is the reason I felt the need to write a review. Stay here if you're going to Disneyland! It's 100% worth it.
