My husband and I just returned from a 3-night stay at the Cooper House, and we loved it! Rob and Tey were warm, welcoming hosts, and if we are ever staying in the Calaveras/Amador area again, this will be our first choice!
The house itself...More

Thank you for your encouraging review. We are a very small veteran operated bed and breakfast and truly appreciate your business and support. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon.

Take a drive up to Calaveras Big Trees. Back in the 1800's, Big Trees was one of the Great Wonders of The World and they are truly magnificent. Check out the Angels Camp Museum, and really get a taste of the California Gold Rush. Definitely visit the town of Murphys. Its a historical gold rush town with great shopping, excellent food and 22 wine tasting rooms right on main street within a 1 mile stretch! And for your wife's birthday dinner I recommend Grounds in Murphys or V Bistro at The Victorian Inn. Excellent food and great ambiance. Make a reservation and Enjoy!
