Stayed at Sunset beach twice now in the last year and both times were great! The staff is beyond accommodating. The only drawback is being far from north of town where a lot of new places are. Juan Carlos and Chapin are great!
Just returned from a week at this locale. Beautiful condo; great accommodations. Do not expect a gradual beach entering the water; there is a sea wall, and in February they were having a BAD problem with sea weed. But there is an AWESOME pier you...More
What a perfect location and setting they have at Sunset Beach resort. Closest enough to all the activities in San Pedro (2.5 miles) but far enough away that it is very peaceful. Nice big condos with all the comforts of home, while being steps away...More
This was my second time staying at the Sunset Condos and it was just as wonderful as the first. Juan Carlos was such a great help with all our excursions and anything we needed, also great advice on things around the island. We love staying...More
We had a wonderful time at the Sunset Beach Resort. The condo was clean, bright & cheerful, comfortable, and had everything we needed and then some. Not only is it stocked with all the kitchenware, paper goods, and linens (including beach towels) we needed, but...More

There is a mini mart within walking distance of the condo, but the inventory is very limited. It probably takes ~ 15-20 minutes to get to a grocery. It seems to take longer since you can only go so fast in a golf cart (limited cars on the island) and there are many speed bumps on the road along the way. That being said, my family (4 adults, 2 kids) made most of our meals in the condo. It helped that we had 2 golf carts and many laps/hands to hold the bags- it's hard to transport all the groceries in a golf cart (no trunk)! We also went out for dinner and ice cream a few nights. I'd factor in 20-30 minutes to get to the heart of San Pedro where the majority of shopping and restaurants are located. There are many dining options closer to the condo as well.
