Everything was right about this place. It was a great location in proximity to all of the restaurants, excursions and street vendors. The AC was a huge perk, beds were comfortable, the amenities were perfect for a “go slow” vacation. The rooftop jacuzzi was a perfect way to wind down the day while watching the sun set over the ocean.
Our host was amazing at making sure we had what we needed and being available. I wouldn’t change a thing. There was enough local vibe mixed with common comforts to make you feel like you weren’t just at home but also not missing some of the comforts of home. I would stay here again and I definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at CayeReef Condos. From the moment we booked, CayeReef was extremely helpful with any questions or requests. The check in process was seamless - they greeted us at the door and showed us around the condo. We enjoyed the rooftop patio with hot tub and the pool out front, especially because we traveled during COVID when there was an 8 PM curfew in Belize. We would eat dinner and watch the sunset from the patio and drink coffee and watch the sunrise from our patio. We would make breakfast in the spacious kitchen in the mornings, and our group of 5 would hang out in the giant living room in the evenings. We were steps away from our dive shop, Frenchies, the split, and many delicious restaurants. The condo was very well kept and clean. And it has air conditioning in every room! Bobby, Danny and everyone else at CayeReef have the BEST customer service. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you!!

I had an amazing stay at the Caye Reef Condos on Caye Caulker. Bobby was great at the front desk and took care of all the details. The location is great as it is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and dive centers. The room was spacious and clean and we had no issues with anything during our stay.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The condo was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We ordered groceries online before leaving home and the beer was waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived—a great touch.
The location is ideal, as you can easily walk to tons of great bars and restaurants, including the Lazy Lizard at the Split. We also enjoyed the pool, the little beach out front, and the views from the rooftop hot tub! We hope to return soon.

We loved our stay at Caye Reef. We had 12 friends/ family in 4 of the rooms and we'd all stay there again. Good a/c & wifi. Close to everything you need. Pool and rooftop jacuzzi were great. The staff was very helpful and we loved that they had a lot of bikes for us to ride plus 2 paddleboards.

We were welcomed by Danny and Bobby who couldn't have been more helpful accommodating our early check-in. They have a wealth of local knowledge and pointed us in the right direction for the best eateries and even arranged some Mayan herbal remedies for my friends cold.
The apartment is well located on the front and has amazing views, particularly from the rooftop hot tub at sunset.
Great pool. All very clean. Well equipped. Will definitely be back.

We stayed in #5 for a week and had a wonderful vacation. The location was perfect, close to the Split, restaurants, and a couple little stores. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The AC worked perfectly. We used the pool and hot tub a couple times and it had them to ourselves each time. Other guests came and went during our stay, but it was never crowded or overly loud. The grounds were kept clean and the little beach has nice shade and a few chairs. Bikes were available.
The street out front is full of activity. You can hear faint music from the nearby bar. We loved having a cocktail on the balcony in the evening. The breeze and the view is incredible. We slept well and have no complaints. We hope to visit Caye Caulker again and Caye Reef would be our first choice to stay. Highly recommend!

We chose to stay here for many reasons. The location is perfect, the sights, the smells, and the view. Sitting on your porch and looking out over the street watching people stroll by, smelling the grilled lobster below, and seeing the birds fly over in the beautiful sky above. My favorite spot in the world.

Ton of options to dine nearby - wayos is literally in right across the street on the water, hurricane and nauti crab both short walk.
Hi Jen W,
All the grocery stores sell liquor too. Most brands are local and cheap, though many well known foreign brands are available at a price. The local rum is excellent. Dr Pepper is not common, but Coke and Pepsi are.
Hi,
Posting rules for TA will not let me place hyperlinks here so I have placed a photo at the bottom of the 'Gallery' tab on our web site. The beach has recliners, wooden seats and a wooden bench. Putting recliners on the beach is new so they are not featured in any photos, yet. The beach is fairly casual and not significantly developed (all beaches are public in Belize). There are also some kayaks on the beach that guests can use if they ask the manager.
Since the water is shallow other than at The Split, if you want to use a dock for swimming talk to the manager. All docks should be open to the public during day-light hours.
Yes, yes and yes. CayeReef has seats and recliners on the beach; we provide beach towels as well as 'shower' towels; and each apartment has a hair dryer. If you have any more questions, requests or problems, now or after you arrive, just talk to or email the front desk.
We hope you have a fabulous stay.
Hi, CayeReef itself does not own a pier - there is no space for one as there are piers either side of their beach. The owners of these two piers (Frenchies Diving and Costa Maya) are happy for CayeReef guests to relax on their piers (note that Frenchies pier was damaged in Hurricane Earl and the rebuild is not yet complete).
Finally, during daylight hours, any person is allowed access to any pier in Belize (though you need permission to use any furnishings).
Hope that helps
