It looked a little run down but we were comfortable. We booked through Hostelworld.com so even though we had a private room, we were expecting more of a hostel vibe than what we got (we could see that there were some dorm rooms but no real common area for people to get together). The staff was friendly and helpful and... More

The staff is amazing, helpful and goes above to help out. We arrived a day earlier than planned and booked a last minutes stay. She let us in early, the room and bathroom is clean, and they accommodated how exhausted we were from the red eye flight. I forgot some of my epilepsy medications and she found a pharmacist that... For $40 a night I don't expect much, but I did not feel all that safe at this location. There were people hanging around the building and it just seemed questionable. I am thankful after reading these reviews that I did get the room with the bathroom that I booked, but it was still vey awkward. I heard loud noises... More

We are 3 English girls - we needed to spend a night in the city to catch a bus in the morning. The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She did our laundry, booked a friends cab and made us feel like we could come to her with any question. The rooms were big, spacious with a tv, good... More

I booked a room with a bathroom, and when I checked in I was told that that room is no longer available, and if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else. I was given a room with a bathroom down the hall, and was offered no discount because of it. I found the property rundown and dirty. The... More

It looks a little run-down from the street, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It's a good value if you don't require many amenities. Bonus: there is a balcony that you can sit on and look out over the city. Take your Belikin up there with you and relax!

Staff is nice, rooms are very simple. We stayed there one night it was ok but would not spend more than 1 night. There is AC which isnt cold but better than nothing. It is in the centrr of Belize city close to all major amenities in Belize city. Rooms seemed a bit dirty...

The room was simple and dirty. Terrible service, unfriendly staff. Good location. To the right of the entrance to the hotel, delicious dinners. We left as early as possible in the morning, to get away from this dirty place.

Very nice front desk staff. They called wonderful cab driver Patrick, who safely took me to several places including the airport at good rates. I felt very safe at all hours in hotel and cab. I loved the outdoor patio. No mosquitos in room! Strong Wifi. Very quiet. Right near the supermarket. Can't beat the location. I had a fantastic... More

Stayed here in a squeeze, but not great value for money. I'd guess that it is average for Belize city if you don't wish to spend a great amount of money, but with a little effort in being friendly it could be better. The service was polite, but not at all helpful or friendly. One word answers and she didn't... More
