This is a really good question. During our stay, we had short periods of rain on several days. But we were never prevented from doing all the really neat things we planned to do. Many of the outings are far enough from the lodge that the weather can be entirely different, especially the Mayan ruins tours. If you happen to be at the lodge on a rainy day, it can be neat to just sit in the lobby or the restaurant or any sheltered place and take in the atmospheric nature of the place, with the lush green and brilliantly colored flowers. So I agree with the other respondents who say, don't let this worry you.
