Maya Mountain Lodge provides a serene, lush setting outside of San Ignacio with a simple, rustic feel. The Trogon Room was clean and simply decorated with a thatched roof but was contained for air conditioning at night. We awoke to birds each morning by 6:30am....More

We didn't rent a car in Belize, but used Discount Belize Shuttle for transport from Belize City to San Ignacio (and other travel while there). I highly recommend them if you want prompt, reliable, and responsive service... More
