We stayed in a two room suite at Martha's and found it very comfortable. Many economy rentals in Belize are a little worn around the edges, but Martha's was not. The showers were warm. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant on the first floor cooked a fish meal for us with a fish that we...

This is a great little boutique hotel. It is family run, with Martha, John & John Jr almost always present. It is clean, safe and right in the middle of everything! Of course, that also means that it can be a bit noisy. We had to change rooms twice to get away from the traffic noise (it is on t.h.e....

We stayed at Martha's for a few days as our base in San Ignacio. No issues with our stay. Pros: Centrally located, free parking, well decorated rooms, super clean, A/C is a boon Cons: No breakfast. Not many breakfast options in town either.

Outside, Martha's doesn't look too great. But located right in the hub of the city, it was fresh, clean, with working air conditioning and free wifi and a balcony. It was across from a convenience store, and right next to the main street, which had restaurants and tour companies. One inconvenience was that it had no elevators and we were...

Martha and her team make a lovely home away from home for those who stay here. Each room is personally decorated and immaculate. Ours had a balcony and fantastic blue tiled bathroom. The Guesthouse is conveniently located for everything you need to do in San Ignacio, too. Highly recommend -- breakfast, though not included was also delicious!

Marha's is just up a block from the city center. It is a beautiful hotel with great rooms, mine had a balcony, and AC for respite from the sometimes draining heat. It has a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. Beautiful wood and tile interior. Gracious, friendly hosts.

I understand there are two different Martha's locations. We stayed at the one known as "Martha's Kitchen", which is very centrally located near the San Ignacio town center. We had a wonderful experience... it was just what we wanted after a few days in more remote jungle locations. We appreciated having wi-fi, television, air conditioning and a refrigerator. There's also...

The decor in not only the room but in the hallways is pretty and charming. Very clean and right in the middle of town. The young men that checked us in were very gracious the first night to assure we had a free parking space right under our window. However, later that evening when we asked for coffee for the...

Clean, right in down town. I have been in San Ignacio several times and if you are looking for $100 or less a night, this is your place. Safe, clean, all the amenities you need. and compare to the other options in Town (at the same level) this has far more value.

We stayed at Martha's for two nights because it was right in town. The price was right and we were going to be out most of the day. Martha's was clean and the hotel very sweet, but the staff not overly friendly. Our room overlooked some construction next door and daytime pounding. My only complaint is that our contract offered...
