Just returned from 8 days in Belize. Couldn't think of a better ending than staying at the Banana. We were booked in Corozal Bay Inn (nightmare!) our first night and quickly changed to Copa Banana. What a difference. Connie and Gregg were our hosts and they were so gracious and knowledgable and willing to share and answer all our hundreds...

If you are looking for the best place to stay in Belize, you've found it! Very clean and comfortable with excellent hosts. If you are looking for high standards with regard to furnishings eg., bedding, towels, Copa Banana sets very high standards. It was our first time in Belize and, as travellers from England, in search of comfortable accommodation in...

three private rooms with their own bathroom, shower & TV, shared kitchen and living room, very nicely decorated, bikes to use - great place and resonable priced; a pool would make a great addition

If you're in town shopping for property around Corozal Town, or staying awhile en route farther south, you couldn't do much better than this guesthouse, Copa Banana, new in early 2004. The rates are affordable, you can cook meals in the common kitchen, complete with dishware, stove, coffee maker, microwave and fridge, and the owners even run a real estate...

Connie and Greg are wonderful people. We loved our stay at the Copa Banana and highly recommend it over the other places we saw in Corozal. The bikes they provided are a really good way to see the town.

Gregg and Connie are wonderful hosts at the Copa Banana. We enjoyed riding bicycles around Corozal and swimming in the bay. A good restaurant is located in a hotel that is right down the street from Copa Banana. It also has a good long distance phone located right in the kitchen. It is comfortable, clean, and I can't say enough...

It was nice & clean. Owners were a bit American if you know what I mean. Bicycles were a nice touch but a tad embarrassing to ride. There isn't a beach around the bay so I salute Connie and Greg efforts to build one naturally. We were in the bay view room which was light and airy, clean, and very...

Stayed for a week at the Copa Banana.......great guest house, spotlessly clean and excellent decor by Connie. Felt right at home and enjoyed the early evening sunsets with the continuous breezes from the ocean. Connie and Gregg made us feel very welcome and we met some interesting people! Definitely recommend it if your staying in the Corazol area.....local market provides...

“We stayed in the Nautical Suite which we enjoyed. However, this is a normal house and you can hear the folks in the other rooms and they can hear you. And of course you can hear the barking dogs all night, as mentioned above. Don't know what the other guest houses or the main house are like.”
