I had not visited Guatemala in 10 years and was thrilled to find this hotel as well maintained and promoting of the native culture as ever. I have stayed here in the past, but this trip the restaurant was an oasis in the bustling town on a Sunday market day on our way to Panajachel. The food and beverages are...

We stayed for a weekend in Chichicastenango, the hotel is located in the main street shopping market, the market is absolutely beautiful! The food at the hotel was amazing and excellent service! Also, superb staff!! The gardens are beautiful. National marimba was playing at the delicious Sunday buffet brunch my family and I had at the hotel. This hotel was...

We had lunch as a group at Santo Thomas. They made us feel welcome. We had a delicious buffet that had been prepared for our group. Loved the fountain area. They have parrots in the courtyard, one talks, he says Hola.

This is a beautiful hotel located right in the center of Chichicastenango near the main street shopping market. The grounds were gorgeous with beautiful plants and even parrots around the fountain in the main courtyard, the staff was nice, and the food was especially delicious. I would definitely stay here again if in the area, and would recommend this hotel.

We didn't stay here, but visited while touring Chichicastenango during their Sunday Market. The central courtyard was quite beautiful with lush flowers hanging down from the balconies & perched tropical birds. We returned later in the day to have fresh lemonade. The prices seemed reasonable for such a quality hotel.

Beautiful Hotel in a lush garden with parrots and fontaine. Large rooms with a fireplace for cool nights. The whole hotel is decorated with guatemalan antiquities collected by the owner. Delicious breakfast. Just around the corner from the colorful market. Private parking. We love this place!

I didn't stay at the hotel but I must admit that I was envious once I stepped inside the courtyard. The place is beautiful! I assumed that the restaurant would most assuredly be equal. I couldn't have been more wrong. Maybe I caught them on a bad night but the servers didn't seemed prepared to receive guests who "weren't on...

The shuttles to and from other towns drop off and pick up here. Stay for coffee or lunch and the bathroom ticket is included, otherwise 5 quetzales to use the clean bathrooms. Pleasant place with busy and effective staff. It is very busy on market days: Thursday and Sunday

Didn't stay at this hotel, rather one across town but if I had known of this place I would have stayed for its beautiful setting. Only came by this hotel to exchange US dollar bills to quetzales as everyone local told us this was the only place to do so - no banks nearby exchanged anymore.

The hotel looks really old, but isn't. It was designed to look like a Grand old hotel. It is fairly large and can handle large groups, but was nearly empty when we were there. I'm sure it's busy for market days, though. The rooms are spacious, but lack TV's. There is WiFi that works OK near the office area, but...
