I hiked for two days on the Acatenango volcano, arrived back to Antigua and then hopped straight on a shuttle to Pana. So I was really looking forward to my shower... I had been about 10 mins and was just about to get out when they banged on the door, said I'd been in there for 45 mins and to...

We spent a very nice night at this hotel. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. We had a pleasant private room and the service was great. They kindly ordered us food as we were exhausted. There is also a free bycicle service which we loved. Only ten minutes biking from the centre. Thank you hotel El sol for the...

We stayed here during the low season in June and the owner gave us a private room even though we only paid for the shared. He is super nice and helpful. It is a good distance from town but nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel El Sol. We stayed in the triple room. It was a very spacious room with three single beds and two nightstands and a t.v. The wifi worked well during our stay. We used the kitchen for several meals to not only save money, but to enjoy the patio at the hotel. The owner...

I loved my stay here! The people working at the hotel are very nice. I especially loved that they lend bikes to any guest who wants one. It is super clean, and nicely quiet at night time. Thank you for a great time in Panajachel! I felt very happy and safe at the hotel.

Friendly staff and owner. Very helpfull in any matter and any time. Any question was answered quick without any "maybe's". The room is very clean and has wifi. There is a kitchen and the hotel offers free drinking water. The location is a 10 minutes walk to the busy streets but the hotel offers free bikes to use. So not...

We are a family of 3 traveling in Guatemala during Semano Santo so finding accommodation was difficult. Hotel El Sol is a clean and quiet hostel. We stayed in the mixed dorm that has single beds with linens, blankets and towels provided. There are several floors, each with a common area, bathroom/ shower and lockers. There is a common kitchen and...

We had a very clean room facing the not too busy street on the road to Polopo. From the hotel is only 3 Q & 7 min. by pickup truck (fun!) to Polopo which is definitely worth visiting. It's a very authentic Guatemalan town on Lake Atitlan and you may be the only tourist there but there are some wonderful...

I stayed for two nights. First, the location is far from downtown. If you like to stay in quiet place, it's a good choice. However, if you want to hang out at night, you had better find another place. Second, rooms and bathroom are clean and nice. Matress, sheet and pillow are comfortable. Bathroom is well maintained and hot shower...

Stayed here for 6 nights over new years and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is super clean and has spacious rooms (we stayed in the private rooms on the 3rd floor). The owners are lovely and always on hand to help out. We used the very reasonably priced laundry services and booked our transfer via the front desk. We...
