Depart Rio Dulce on a 'banana boat' style outboard and travel down the river and across the huge lake, and amazing river with its houses along the shore, to Livingston at the mouth of the river. In Livingston as you walk the back streets, the people thank you for visiting. The town gets busy when school closes for the day....

Wow! Location the best. Rooms the best. Restaurant great. Views to die for. Our room was on the second floor. Spacious, comfortable, nice balcony, lots of places to put belongings, clean, comfortable. Our room would not be good for people that have problems with stairs. The stairway is circular and floating. The porters carry your bags up and down. The...

Stayed here for 3 nights and was dazzled by the place. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and most have a balcony overlooking the pool and the mouth of the Rio Dulce. The whole place was spotless. Very attentive and efficient staff. The large pool is beautifully landscaped and designed. We ate one dinner and one breakfast at the hotel...

We were staying at this hotel during our honeymoon, and the service was simply fantastic. We were give two welcome coktails (which were great) and a voucher for coktails at their bar. We were staying in one of their bungalows, which was lovely, with a great view over the sea and the swimming pool. The swimming pool itself was wonderful.

The food was good, probably a bit expensive, but you also pay for the view. The menu is dominated by sea food, which I actually like a lot. Overall, we will try to spend a...
