We just returned from 5 days at Paya Bay Resort. I'll share our thoughts on the good, the bad and our "wish list" for the resort. [GOOD] We decided to try Paya Bay for the naturism, snorkeling and kayaking and we were generally satisfied with our experiences in those 3 areas

Paya Bay is a wonderful, small, boutique resort -- fewer than 20 rooms, spotlessly-clean accommodations, friendly & attentive staff, and consistently good food -- all in an incomparable, lush, 22-acre seaside location with its own private beach. I went for one of the 35 weeks

They have head n shoulders single packs in the room. You will pass by a large grocery store on the way from the airport. You can get stuff there too, especially bug repellent which is a must. Do not let up on the bug repellent.

Paya can take you by boat to have a sunset dinner at La Sirena which is a small restaurant on a pier. It’s a short boat ride and has great Lion Fish appetizers and rum punch. Bring cash to pay for your meal there, no CC. Now, this won’t be included in your Paya meals but it is worth going. See our review on La Sirena.

We came by cruise ship. I can tell you the resort will go out of their way to pick you up and make you feel welcome. Make sure you keep connected to them through phone and email and you will be just fine. :)
