Once again, Paya Bay exceeded all expectaions during our vacation last week. The staff , the beach, the food and the company were-- as usual-- all top notch! PB is truly a one-of-a -kind destination for anyone seeking to relax, unwind and savor the moment. While we had to leave

I was completely in the dark about this trip since my boyfriend booked everything. The beat-up road leading to the property cautioned me that we might be “roughing it” but that was not the case, and I realized upon leaving how that only adds to its charm and separation from

Paya Bay is a family-run resort at the end of the island Roatan, Honduras. We were returning for a 5th or 6th visit. Obviously, we have enjoyed it before or we would not have returned--and once again we were not disappointed! The resort is located on a many acre tract, with

They have head n shoulders single packs in the room. You will pass by a large grocery store on the way from the airport. You can get stuff there too, especially bug repellent which is a must. Do not let up on the bug repellent.

Paya can take you by boat to have a sunset dinner at La Sirena which is a small restaurant on a pier. It’s a short boat ride and has great Lion Fish appetizers and rum punch. Bring cash to pay for your meal there, no CC. Now, this won’t be included in your Paya meals but it is worth going. See our review on La Sirena.

We came by cruise ship. I can tell you the resort will go out of their way to pick you up and make you feel welcome. Make sure you keep connected to them through phone and email and you will be just fine. :)
