After reading many reviews of Utila Lodge we knew fairly well what to expect. When you stay here the intention is to dive. Don't even think of the facility as a resort. Everything is right there: rooms, dining facility, bar and the boat. Albert was our boat captain and he was excellent helping us with gear and getting off and...

Let's be clear - the diving is superb, Willy the dive master and Albert the captain are the best, the food is plentiful and good and the service in the lodge is wonderful. Yes, the rooms are a bit....rustic...but it's Utila. Now the bad news, Because Lodge is associated with the College of Diving, and because the two have not...

Hey Bill, I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed the diving! Albert and Willy certainly are an amazing team. I am very sorry though to hear about the experience you had with our other guests. You are correct in that I am very devoted to all of our guests. Which year they were born in means very little...

This hotel is located close to Honduras. Its been designed with scuba diving in mind while being comfortable with the basics for a great diving vacation. Food is provided so you don't have to lose time looking for a place to eat. It is good and has a nice variety. Diving is amazing. The coral is very alive and full...

We just spent an excellent week at Utila lodge. From the friendly staff, to the food, the diving and accommodations, it's the best place to stay in Utila. Our group of 8 was made of engineers, lawyers, doctors, etc. and all we more than satisfied. As Scuba store owner and instructor for many years, I was very impressed with our...

Good place for diving adventure. Dive crew, Willy and Albert, are some of the best I have used and I typically do 2 dive trips a year. Lodge is good as far as dive lodges go. Food is good again as far as dive lodges go. This not a place for the comfort creatures. This is for diving and they...

I stayed at Utila Lodge for a week in July and I'm glad I did. From the moment I was greeted at the airstrip by Pete and checked in by Marley, to the moment I left I couldn't have felt more welcome. Every single member of staff was friendly, helpful and gave me the impression that my comfort and happiness...

Stayed a week there on a diving trip in July. The diving conditions were great and also the boat crew was top notch. At the resort they make you feel like it is your second home. Three full course buffet style meals are served a day and all the food was wonderful . The island itself has many other adventures...

We stayed at the Lodge for two nights while visiting my daughter who was working in Utila for the summer. We didn't dive, so did not experience everything the hotel has to offer. But it is still one of the best places to stay in Utila. It is located right in the center of the town, but it is built...

If you don't dive, wouldn't recommend this place - only because they have one deck area with regular chairs and there is a diving college next door that frequently uses the deck for classes. No pool. If you do dive - the shore diving is non existent - nothing to see - boat diving is great! Food is good also!...
