This place is fabulous. An old coffee farm, with wonderful old buildings converted into guest rooms, and open plan kitchen and sitting room areas, full of history and charm. Lovely patio/terrace area for eating. Excellent food, warm friendly service. Gardens are amazing, with

The old hacienda (reception, terrace dining area, lounge, kitchen) has real character. There are a couple of old rooms – simple but good if you like old style, alternatively there are a number of new cabins up the hill. Staff are very friendly. Very close to the Copan Ruinas

The hotel is on a hill overlooking the town. Views of surrounding hills were beautiful. Hotel is rustic, but comfortable. I'd bet it's the best that Copan has to offer. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly.

What is the weather in late May? Will the hotel pick people up at the airport?
Very humid, in can run up to 90% during this time of year. It will rain everyday but it is monsoon season. The rains are usually mild but they can be frog chokers. Shorts, t-shirt, hat, good boots and a pancho is all you need as well as some water. Definitely bring water wherever you go. Despite the humidity it is easy to dehydrate.
