Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Pro: Wow.. I’m so sorry to say, but I wasn’t expected to have nice clean room and comfortable beds! It’s walking distance to old Medina and a great patisserie in front of the hotel. There is aircon, hair dryer, fridge, security-safe, a small water bottle, coffee/ tea, kettle. Conditioner in shampoo, body wash and soap had been provided. Cons: Nothing about the room. I had dinner at restaurant on the first night. There is buffet and another restaurant. I thought individual ordered menu at restaurant and meal included to buffet are different until spoken to waitstaff. It was okay, but meal we ordered was a part of buffet meal, so should’ve go to buffet restaurant instead.

Dear Taka Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're delighted to hear that you were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the beds. It's great that our location near the old Medina and the presence of a patisserie in front of the hotel added to your overall experience. We appreciate your feedback on the amenities provided in the room, and we're glad you found them satisfactory, from the air conditioning and fridge to the toiletries and beverages. Regarding your dining experience, we apologize for any confusion with the ordering process at the restaurant. We appreciate your feedback, and we'll work on clarifying the distinctions between the individual ordered menu and the buffet offerings. Your input helps us improve, and we hope to welcome you back for an even better experience in the future! Regards Soufiane Louhamane General Manager

This hotel should not, in my option, be classified as a 4 star hotel. Our room was filthy. It appeared someone tried to clean up the carpet from an accident, but wasn’t very successful. The room smelled bad with stale smoke. Hair on the bathroom counter. The sink stopper was broken along with the toilet paper cover. I spoke to the manager who agreed to move us the next day. The next room was much better!! The food is just average. No CNN or BBC on the tube. The staff is very polite.

This hotel is located very conveniently near the city center with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room had an odd smell - maybe smoke, maybe something else. It was clean and basic. There were ample electrical outlets for charging devices. When we checked in, there were no towels in the room and we had to request them. The hotel is old and it feels that way. The breakfast was okay, but the coffee machine was not working well, so no coffee. No fresh fruit, limited selection of foods.

Stayed here for one night. Buffet in evening was disappointing. Room on 7th floor had disappointing views. Served by three lifts. Poorly lit room was ok but no electric point near mirror for wife. Air con good. Walk-in shower on first inspection looked good but must be the weakest rain shower anywhere we have ever been with no power and knob broken to adjust water power. Drainage from shower also poor. 3/5 rating at best probably deserves less! Nothing memorable about this hotel. Breakfast poor in comparison to all other hotels stayed in in Morocco. Dining room more like a school canteen. Staff not particularly friendly.

beds are nice and shower has lots of hot water and pressure. Breakfast was a complete disaster both mornings. No tables or chairs, nothing set out, nothing worked. Staff is nice and the Bar/lounge staff is helpful.

My wife and I stayed here on a group tour. Suppose to be a class 4 hotel. Dirty room, uncleaned bathroom, badly soiled carpet, stuck door and a terrible location. Being Morocco we wern't expecting a lot but this place was the pits. We had dinner at the hotel, buffet style. As bad as the room. We ordered 2 bottles of water, thinking it was included in the meal. Nope. We left dining area and returned to our room. Ten minutes later a phone call from someone I could barely understand demanding we return to the restaurant and pay for our water. Can you put it on our room? No he says. Classy

Great location. Well designed spacious rooms. Very courteous and helpful staff. Bar and restaurant doesn't provide half of the listed items. Rooms have electric kettle but surprisingly no coffee / tea though. Overall, a good place to stay.
