Walking into Dar El Ma was like walking into our own private palace! All our senses were up for a treat: It looks absolutely stunning with all those jolly colours, lovely Houda makes most amazing mint teas and delicious breakfests, at the background you can hear calming rush of the medina. And then when everything got little bit darker and...

We had the most amazing stay at Dar El Ma. Its the most charming place to stay; full of character. After a long day exploring the buzz and bustle of the souk, you walk through the front door and are immediately transported into a cool calm atmosphere a million miles away from everthing, such a relaxing place to rest up...

We stayed at Dar El Ma and could not have been more content. As three packpackers we thought this sort of accomodation would be way out of our price range but it was excellent value. The house is beautiful and was the perfect retreat from the chaos of the medina. Listening to the call to pray on the awesome roof...

Dar Elma was one of the most beautiful places that we stayed during our trip. Houda and Aziz were extremely kind and caring. They couldn't have been nicer to my mother and me. The riad is located in the heart of Medina and not far from the Blue Gate. The room was beautifully decorated and huge for two people. The...

Dar El Mar is truly a most precious jewel perfectly located in the ancient Fes medina. This riad has recently been marvelously restored to (or exceeding) its original grandeur! From the moment we entered the ancient cedar door we knew we were in a magical place! The Dar El Ma center court was filled with late afternoon sunlight and intricate...

We are so glad that we found Dar el Ma. The owner and local host made sure our arrival was hassle-free. First getting into the Medina is completely disorienting. Follow their advice of taking a petit taxi to parking lot Ain Azletten, and then let the shop keeper/manager there take you to the Riad.  There are only two guest rooms...

Very nice, private riad in the middle of the Fes medina where you could come and go as you pleased. We really enjoyed our stay in Dar El Ma. Saeed met us at the entrance to the Medina and guided us to Dar El Ma. My husband was quite ill and i was worried about going out into the medina...

A trail of taxi's and luggage-carriers led us to the hart of the medina. For us it had been the finish of a 12 day stay in Morocco; but we were still impressed with the medieval alleys in Fes and our accomodation! Our arrival had been well prepared by the riad-people and we were taken for a cup of tea...

Beautiful and very clean riad in the heart of the Fes medina. It is walking distance to everything you would want to see. The girl who runs the place (Houda) is absolutely lovely and speaks English very well. She made a lovely breakfast and let me do laundry which we desperately needed. The value is quite good for Fes, which...

Glad you like your stay at Dar El Ma. Sorry for the carossa mix up, Adil should have been there to make sure you were not pressured into taking one if you didn't need one. BTW 50 dirhams is actually only $6 not $20, it should have been around half this (20-25 dirhams) We are sorry for this unfortunate start...
