Very nice place, we received a very warm welcome from Fatima and instantly felt at home. The rooms were nice, it wasn't a busy time but we didnt even notice other people were staying there until we saw them over breakfast. Location wise, we had a driver so didn't walk anywhere, but didn't seem to be too far from the...

We booked at Dar Fes Medina without doing much research and found ourselves astonished that we'd made such a great choice! The staff and owner are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, clean and quite comfortable. Having breakfast on the rooftop on a sunny morning, overlooking the medina and the surrounding hills, is one of my best...

We booked a 3 night stay at Dar Fes Medina. This Dar is quite lovely. Mohammed explained the attention to detail put into re- building this dar. We started off a little shaky; we had arranged through the hotel for a driver to meet us at the airport in Fez as we were arriving late at night. No one showed....

I stayed here for almost a week with a group that took up the entire Riad. The rooms are well-appointed and air conditioned, and the service was excellent. The owner and his family took care of us like family--the first evening we took over the kitchen and he wouldn't let us clean up even though we used just about every...

When we landed in Fes on the airport a driver waited us to take us to Dar fes Medina. It was our first contact with Morocco and there is hardly a better man for that job then the owner Mohammed who welcomed us with a great breakfast and a lot of friendly and useful advice about Fes medina. He and...

I organized a stay for a group of 16 American university professors at Dar Fes Medina this June. Our stay at the Riadh was exceptional in every way. Muhammad, the owner, and his staff really made us feel like we were part of his family. He showed us around the city when we needed help and took care of all...

Dar Fes Medina is a nice little hotel conveniently located in the heart of the Fes Medina. When my family of five arrived there late one evening in March, a plate of cookies and some fresh mint tea were waiting for us. The owner, Mohammed, was very nice. Dar Fes Medina is also located right across the street from a...

Staying at the dar Fes medina was like being invited into the home of relatives you haven't met before but that make you feel instantly welcome relaxed and comfortable. You are given every courtesy and advice you could want and a wonderful breakfast to start the day. There is a true feeling of family, friendship and cross cultural bonds that...

Mohammed was extremely helpful to the 4 of us that stayed there recently. He suggested restaurants for dinner each night and even arranged pick-ups and drop-offs for us due to the difficulty of navigating the old medina. Mohammed even drove us around on our last night until we found an ATM that worked. We hired a tour guide for the...

Just fantastic! Rooms are very comfortable, and not overdecorated (Moroccan decor can sometimes veer toward excess). There are so many nice little details too--beautiful antique embroidery on the wall, a handmade cedar bucket in the bath, an attractive ceramic bowl instead of a plastic trashcan... And Mohammed is great--he makes every effort to make sure guests have everything they need....
