We stayed for about 4 nights in November at La Maison Maure (3 friends) and were delighted with this beautiful Riad. Both the interior design and the service are exquisite. We also enjoyed sunbathing on the pretty roof-terraces and would definitely recommend the place and for sure, come again. Also a plus: great typical Moroccan breakfast and dinner upon request...

At the moment Christian-Stephane and Dryss opened the door of Le Maison Maure, we felled in love. With them and with their riad in middle of the old medina of Fes. The house is beautiful renovated in a very distinguish style and with all the luxury you need. The breakfast is superb. Especially the home made banana bread and the...

I decided to stay at the Medina with some trepidations. When I read that one has to be picked up and dropped at the gate I really wondered what this was all about. However, it appears that I made a perfect choice in booking in Maison Maure. The location of Maison Maure is near perfect. It is close to the...

When the small, Moroccan wooden door opens and you go inside, you have the feeling that you stepped into a parallel world. High ceiling, purple velvety sofas, delicious mint tea & pastry and breathtaking view from the three amazing terraces on top of the Riad. Driss welcomed us like we were old friends and made our stay there without fault....

Go there for the terraces on the top of the Maison Maure, for the 360° view over the Medina, for the white -bellied swallows over your head when you are up there. Go there for this rare feeling you're genuinely welcome, and expected, and at home , especially after a long exhausting day strolling up and down the Medina in...

We stayed here is April 2012...and we only have one complaint. They really need a sign outside of the building so you know where you are. Besides that this place was perfect. Christian and Driss made this place feel so welcoming. They knew great people to help you with any tours you want to do. And they recommended great places...

We stayed at La Maison Maure for 2 nights in November of 2011. The owner, Christian, and manager, Driss, provided over the top warm hospitality. The beautifully renovated Riad Hotel was less than a year old and is a nice combination of traditional and modern. The decor was stunning and felt like a boutique hotel. The location is close to...

Clean and relax place to stay. We found a nice discount on their website: 3nights for 69€ /night and a free dinner with wine. Suite number 3has easy access to the first terras.and nr. 5 has a privat terras. A tv in the room would be a nice option during calm winterevenings. The owner christian called us after the first...

We spent two nights and three days as the guests at La Maison Maure, our host Mr. Driss was very helpful with all aspects of our stay. This Riad is situated in an easily accessible part of the Medina of Fez and is an easy walk to the busy market area. The accommodations are creatively designed incorporating the traditional aspects...

La Maison Maure is a haven of calm in the midst of the Medina. Christian and Driss have combined a warm welcome with attention to detail. The 400-year-old house has been restored with impeccable taste. The breakfasts and dinners are notable for quality and variety.
