A spectacular oasis of beauty and charm right in the heart of the ancient medina. The photos do not do it justice, this 250 year old riad is stunningly beautiful and has been painstakingly restored to its original grandeur. We were treated like royalty by the manger Kabir who was super helpful and courteous, he helped organise transport to and from the airport and recommended hammams and restaurants in the local area. We loved sitting on the roof terrace listening to the call to prayer and enjoyed the great views of Fez. Julian, the owner was extremely efficient responding very promptly to all my queries and also made helpful suggestions for day trips from Fez. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Dar Drissi. The Riad is secure and well maintained. In the heart of the Old Town, it is exceptionally peaceful during the day and extremely quiet at night. We appreciated the A/C and enjoyed the access to the common areas and roof top with its wonderful view. Use of the large fridge, excellent internet and daily breakfast was also appreciated. Dar Drissi can arrange a variety of trips and with notice, can cook up a Moroccan Feast. Special thanks to Kibin who looks after the Riad and is readily available for queries, support and advice. Would happily return and without hesitation, recommend Dar Drissi as perfect place to explore the wonders and delights of Morocco. Many thanks

Communication with Julian prior check in was very efficient. He was responsive and quick to answer any questions. We dealt with Kibir during our stay and he was the best! For a pick up, you're meant to let him know at least 10-15 mins beforehand. However, our tour guide from our desert tour kept neglecting to call him despite many reminders. Luckily, I was able to use my last bit of data to let Kibir know where we were and he arrived right on time. Thank you so much for that! When we got to the riad, he gave us some mint tea and cookies. He also let us know that if we ever got lost and couldn't find the way back, to send him a picture and just wait for him to get us. Thankfully, we didn't get lost but that was highly appreciated. He really does go above and beyond to make all guests feel welcomed and at ease. He also helped us arrange for our taxi to the train station, and let us store our luggage until we had to leave. Breakfast was nice. The room was very comfortable and clean. The riad itself was very peaceful and in an excellent location. We were very happy with our stay and would stay again. Don't hesitate to book!

The riad is beautiful and well maintained; it looks the same as what is shown on the pictures! The room is comfy and we loved having the breakfast downstairs with a view on the fountain. The manager Kibir is very kind, thoughtful and helpful. It shows that he cares for the place and for his guests. His wife also works there and she is lovely. I highly recommend the place :)

An amazing Dar, from the time you are meet to your departure you are treated like family, stunning service and respect from the staff, 300 year old Riad that has been renovated to its original condition. Fabulous position to explore the Medina and staff will organise any trip, I did 2, Chefchaouen and Volubilis / Meknes organised by the Riad, at local prices so you know you are not paying over the top. Breakfast is great, a small kitchen with fridge and you can use the facilities, I cannot thank them enough as they made my trip a highlight with such fantastic memories. If you don’t book here you are missing out on some local village experience, 6*+.

During our trip to Fès, two friends, my wife, little son and I stayed for four two in the Riad Dar Drissi. In general the riad is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Our hosts and the other staff were really kind and attentive and they gave us a lot of useful hints on Fès. Furthermore, every day they made us delightful mint tea. Last but not least the free WiFi was working rather well (definitely not always the case in Morocco). The riad is located in the Medina. It is close to a public paid parking lot and a lot of small shops and restaurants are nearby. We had really a good time at the Riad Dar Drissi and we would stay there again.

From the moment we were met at the airport we knew we were headed somewhere special and it did not disappoint. An exciting midnight walk through narrow alleys with our host led us to a beautiful door which swung open to reveal an amazing Riad. Our room was beautiful, clean and welcoming, in the morning we armed ourself for the day with a generous breakfast. It was quiet at night, despite all the rooms facing onto the main room with it's tinkling fountain. We changed to the Terrace room, overlooking the place where we spent time relaxing, or just chilling out with a book listening to the sounds of the city or after a busy day exploring the Medina. My partner enjoyed watching the kestrels, and other bird life flying high above the beautiful city. We listened to the magical sound of the call to prayer resonating over the roof and the hills. We couldn't have asked for more, and when it turned out we needed a print out of the ubiquitous boarding pass, Kabir sorted it out for us. He also booked us on a neat tour of Chefchouen, and took us to meet the coach with some food to go.

We stayed at Dar Drissi for two nights before returning home to London. We were traveling Morocco as a group of three women, and we found Dar Drissi and their staff to be exceedingly helpful. Kibir, the manager, was excellent. He served us tea as soon as we entered, and provided us with a map of the area to help us get around. On our last night, we realized we had to leave for the airport early the next morning and we did not have an airport transfer. Not only was Kibir able to organize one for us on short notice, but he also provided us a "breakfast to go" so we would not miss out on our morning meal the next day. Talk about amazing hospitality! Would highly recommend.

My family of 6 rented out the entire dar, which I recommend. It gave us a place where our young children could be loud and play without disturbing anyone. We were very comfortable here. The Atlas Suite and the 1st floor room (Courtyard Salon) are the biggest and nicest rooms. The other rooms are quite small but still nice. The view from the roof is beautiful. Kirbir and the other staff are awesome and were very kind to my children. They helped us do some much needed laundry and we arranged to have dinner in the dar, which I can recommend. The food was great and it was nice to just have a relaxed meal as a family without the chaos of the medina. I highly recommend staying here.
