Columns and arcades set up meticulously with floral and cursive sculptures marvellously engraved on Plaster and cedar doors.Discover the Moroccan gastronomy and enjoy the delights of the rich and varied Moroccan art of cooking. Our dishes are prepared with the finest spices and organic ingredients to give our guests a taste of the real and authentic Fassi cuisine. The meals can be served in patios, Moroccan living room, terraces or in intimacy of your residence according to your choice.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place is beautiful, emulate, old fashioned North African/Arabian atmosphere with nightly entertainment. The staff are super friendly and engage with the guests frequently. The spa hammam is an amazing experience to partake in. I would recommend this place when you visit Fes

This is what we came to Morocco for! The restored building is stunning (the ceiling in our room was incredibly detailed and beautiful, our headboard was from a palace), the food is great, and the people are the best. Marco, Obama sr, Obama jr and all the rest of the staff are so warm and welcoming! The location and the pool are also pluses. I recommend highly for an authentic Moroccan experience!

A remarkable experience in an historic property. We stayed in the same suite as the Queen of Jordan when she was in Fes to see Bono and U2! The hospitality is warm and sincere. Marcos welcomed us with exuberance and provided the utmost service. He and the staff worked hard to make our time memorable. I highly recommend Riad Elyacout.

Wonderful Riad in the center of Fes. Stayed there two nights with a group of friends and really enjoyed our stay. The staff (Marcos, Khalid, Abdul and Najwa) were fabulous. Great location, clean rooms and lovely little pool. Definitely recommended!

Stayed in Fez 2 nights on our way to climb in the Atlas Mountains. Very much enjoyed the service and friendly staff. They took excellent care of us. Special thanks to Marcos, Khalid, Abdul, Najwa. Yacout is located in a very safe and walkable part of town. Do not miss restaurant NUR for a Michelin experience.

The facility is beautiful. Many unique rooms make up this historic riad. Above all, however, the service, especially Marko, is exceptional! Very welcoming upon arrival and the high level of service continued throughout our 2 day stay. Highly recommend.

Riad Yacout in Fes, Morocco is fantastic! It’s stunningly beautiful. And, it’s centrally located. I stayed for 3 nights with a tour. The staff is wonderful. So helpful. Marco is especially great. In addition to being a consummate professional, he is charming, enthusiastic and warmly engaging. He very quickly resolved a problem I was having in my room. I mistakenly thought the cold water facet controlled the hot water. Oops! Marco identified and explained my error in a very kind and thoughtful manner which I really appreciate. I highly recommend Riad Yacout!

I was last in Morocco in 1977, a Berkeley hippie in a camper van. Here I am in April 2024 with a group of UC Retirees traveling throughout Morocco, now in Fes in this Riad. It has been the most wonderful transition in all these decades to experience the kindness and hospitality of the Moroccan people. From campgrounds pre internet to Riad el Yacout, enveloped in great food, a superb staff who accommodates everything I could ask for with grace and humor and expertise has been amazing. Marcus and Abdul of the family who make this place sing reaffirms that hospitality and kindness to strangers still exists. Thank you. It’s not just a place to stay or eat or get a massage. It’s a way of life we forget exists in this political year. Especially during Ramadan. Okay, I kept getting lost from dining room to my room. But it’s not a camper van. It’s a riad.

We had the most amazing time at this riad. Marcos and Medi (Obama) and all of the staff were so attentive and amazing. We felt so taken care of. The place itself is gorgeous and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The food is so delicious, the hamam is fantastic and the service is top notch! I am coming back here with my family next time. They are amazing and we miss it already!

If you want to have a fabulous experience, visit this gorgeous 40’room guest house mansion and restaurant right in the Medina!!! I had the most amazing soup, followed by an exquisite lamb dish, delicious dessert and Moroccan tea. But the best part was our waiter Marcos, he was so charming and spoked in many languages, he had everyone clapping to the beat of the live music and had my husband and I dance with him.
