Opulent, luxurious, very comfortable. Amazing people, extremely helpful. We were met outside Medina walls and led to the Riad. They provided free parking. They recommend a guide for the next day, and he was great. Great breakfast.

We really like the location of this Riad, and the on-site staff were friendly and helpful. The property itself was attractive but badly maintained, as other reviewers have detailed. For us the spoiler of this trip was the fact that we had booked a 2-bedroom suite via booking dot com, and upon arrival was told that the second bedroom of our suite was actually populated by another couple, and so we just had the one room to use. In any western hotel this would be unacceptable, and of course I complained immediately to the on-site staff who were unable to do anything, but suggested I complain to booking dot com as it appeared to be a mistake in the booking system. We stayed 3 nights and at 10:30pm on our final night (checking out at 6am the next day for an early train) we were told "apologies, you indeed are entitled to the suite, please make use of the second room". We were right about to go to sleep so didn't even bother using the room. It's a perfectly fine place, but honestly Fes has plenty of other Riads to choose from, that presumably would care more about customer satisfaction, choose elsewhere.

We were a family of 5 who stayed here for 2 nights recently. Having just come from a family-styled riad in Rabat where the rooms were very small, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of our bedrooms and bathroom! Firstly this riad is located right in the medina and we had a guide walking us through the 'maze' the next day. As you enter the riad, the usual courtyard has been transformed into a sitting area with very inviting sofas and cushions. Our rooms were on the right; a triple with a huge bathroom and narrow stairs leading to another double room with an en-suite. Though this riad is not new but we liked the space that we got and the olddish looking furnishings add character to the place. As we got in fairly late after a long drive, we opted to have dinner in the riad. Our driver Yousef called before hand to ask if they serve dinner and the answer was yes. We had the lovely Harira soup, and tajines and pastillas, all rather tasty. Breakfast was served the next two mornings and we had breads, pancakes, cakes, jams, eggs, juices, coffee/tea. We enjoyed our stay here, loved the space that we got!

I spent 3 nights in this fabulous Riad in the Fez's Medina. The room was super clean and confortable, and all the personnel very gentle. The Riad is very close (about 1km) to the Blue Gate and, therefore, to the very heart of the Medina. I also happened to eat twice at Riad Damia: food was really tasty and genuine! A big thank to the Staff for this wonderful experience!

We had two experiences here. The first night, a terribly small room with an almost unusable shower. The next night an enormous four room suite. The suite was very special and a bargain, although we didn't need that much space. The bathroom was lovely and huge. The same breakfast as every place we stayed in Morocco. The location was good, just inside the Medina and it was very quiet. The low star rating was because the room we reserved was not available when we checked in.
