Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very nice and magical traditional hotel takes u away from all country crowdness to a relaxant historical atmosphere. Very cozy and very friendly staff. Helpful and respectful too. We enjoyed our stay wished it was longer. Highly recommended if u decided to visit fes.💖💖💖

Riad Damia was great. The owner was extremely welcoming. Gave us mint tea on arrival and some good advice on the city of Fes. The rooms were massive and lovely. Breakfasts were GREAT. Rood terrace was lovely.

Everyone at the Riad was so amazing and kind and just absolutely wonderful. We got married in April and they really went above and beyond to make our experience the happiest and most magical! The food was outstanding, the rooms were traditional and beautifully decorated. If you are looking for an authentic and superbly friendly Moroccan experience: look no further. Riad Damia is a home away from home!

I don’t often write reviews but was disappointed enough I had to write this one… First of all the staff were very kind, courteous and attentive. That’s the main redeeming quality. However as some of the other reviewers have noted, this Riad has fallen into disrepair. My wife and I visited during the June month and the Air Conditioner was not at all working to full strength. The room was HOT. After requesting to move rooms they brought a dusty fan but it barely made a difference. Second, and perhaps worse, the room was bathroom was very dirty. There was a strong odor from the pipes that went into the bedroom, and the bath towels were stained and crusty. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the sink didn’t drain. All in all a bad bathroom experience = a very uncomfortable night. We ended up changing our hotel rooms because of the hygiene and lack of climate control. The riad itself is pretty but there are many similarly pretty ones in the Medina with much better amenities. Not worth it.

Excellent riad. The hosts are extremely friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, and will help you book any tour you want. The riad itself is beautiful, and the rooms are large and well soundproofed, which is surprising given the large windows and beautiful tile flooring. Located in a quiet neighborhood but still easily accessible to the souks and tourist attractions. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely Riad, beautiful interior, delicious food available should you want to eat in the impressive grand hallway any evening. Spectacular and filling breakfasts. Bedroom stunning and pristine.. the inlaid wooden ceiling a work of art all by itself. Most of all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and went out of their way to assist with taxis etc… Ten out of ten

I loved this place. It was a very wonderful experience. The place is as if you live in the Middle Ages inside a royal palace. I loved the experience a lot. The workers are understanding and loving, and I will repeat the experience soon. The food is also wonderful and a variety of ancient Moroccan dishes and authorities.

The riad was gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and retain the traditional ambiance while having modern amenities that made this an ideal stay. Rooms are unique from each other and vary in size and layout. This worked perfectly for my family because you can book rooms that fit a whole family or accommodate a couple who wants more privacy. Just make sure know what you’re booking exactly because of this. Location is conveniently along the old Medina. The staff insisted on the personally helping us navigate the Medina, and will give you transport to touristy spots. You can politely decline if you want to explore on your own. The staff were very helpful. It was clear they wanted to accommodate all of our needs. We spent a lot of time with Hamza, who was super helpful and good fun to be around. Abdo, Azdine, and Boutaina we’re also extremely kind and helpful. All in all it was a great stay that I highly recommend.
