My wife and I stayed here while travelling around Morocco and studying Arabic. Thankfully, we booked this hotel during our stay in Fes as the staff were always trying to help with our practice. Moreover, the manageress would offer to translate any unfamiliar vocabulary for me! As for the general service, we were always made to feel welcome and cared...

Hotel was fine, but I'm sure you could find better at near the same price range. WiFi was down for part of our stay, which is inconvenient but not a deal-breaker. The restaurant on the top floor is basically the same as any of a hundred panini/pizza/kebab cafes you can find on the street. It's fine as far as a...

Oh dear!  Not sure about this hotel.   It is located in the Ville Nouvelle so anywhere you want to go, it has to be by taxi, but there are several restaurants, cafes and banks nearby.  The petit taxi fare to the Medina should only cost about Dh20, should, that is. The hotel is run down, our phone didn't work which...

The receptionist was asleep when we arrived. We had a triple room which was quite large and it included a very nice traditional breakfast....

I had requested a non-smoking room, but when I go to the room, the first thing I noticed was the ashtray in the room, so I went downstairs to ask the receptionist to change my room. She insisted that a smoking room and a non-smoking room was the same! So, I insisted that she change me to another which she...

Another late review. We stayed for one night At Zahrat Al Jabal Hotel during our short trip to Fez. We decided to stay outside the Old City (Madinah) for more flexibility in terms of transport. The lady at the reception speaks good English but the rest of the hotel staff can only communicate in French, Moroccan or Arabic. However, their...
