After spending a quiet few days at a wonderful villa just outside Marrakech (Villa Dinari), we moved to the old town and the beautiful Riad Elizabeth. The riad is decorated in luxurious Moroccan style, each room is unique; ours had a wonderful four poster bed and a huge bath! Candles and red rose petals can be found everywhere! The roof...

This was our second trip to Marrakech and we couldn't have stayed in a better place. John and Elizabeth along with their staff were all incredible hosts and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The riad itself if beautiful; the rooms are great and so is the roof terrace. The souks and the main square...

This place is incredible! We were looked after very well and it really did feel like home from home rather than a hotel. The food is excellent and the rooms beautifully decorated. A lovely place to go back to after a busy day in the souqs. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Marrackech.

After much research, I booked Riad Elizabeth for a birthday celebration with friends. From the initial booking, the Gilbeys could not do enough for us. Elizabeth provided us with responses to all the questions we had before we even arrived in Marrakech. On our first night, we were picked up from the airport and greeted warmly on arrival by Kamal...

What a find, an oasis of calm and sophistication, the perfect antidote after a days sighseeing around the encharnting medina. We used Rial Elizabeth as a base to discover the wonders of marrakesh, they arranged as mush or a little as we wanted and helped us navigate the complexities of local travel. They arranged our transport to and from the...

I stayed at Riad Elizabeth once before in 2008 and have been keen to return ever since - the plan to do so started even before I’d touched back down on English soil - & it did not fall short of my expectations… I cannot praise this Riad highly enough, it checks all the boxes that you could hope for...

We stayed at the Riad Elizabeth for 3 nights this February and I am sorry to say our stay was too short. Our room was comfortable and relaxing and we felt completely taken care of by everyone who worked at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we found out that Kamal, the manager, had already booked us dinner...
