Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited this restaurant after it being highly recommended in a BBC series last year - and it fully lived up to it's billing. From the beautiful entrance through the garden, to the traditional interior, to the amazing authentic food and truly amazing staff and service the whole experience was top class. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hotel's Favourite
My daughter and I stayed in Al Fassia between 25th of July to 4th of August. We received an excellent service during the stay. We started a good day from having an inclusive nutritional breakfast by the pool. The hotel owner Mera was so attentive, always came to greet us when we had pur breakfast. It locates between the old and new town, so it is affordable to any tourist attractions in Marrakesh by taxis, and the hotel reception can arrange taxis for us. The hote pool is an added bonus when it was too hot to visit touristy attractions. we could swim and eat in the hotel. There is an attached Al Fassia restaurant in the hotel, so we could have food by the swimming pool or dine in the nice restaurant. Staff were very polite and attentive to its customers. We also enjoyed a unique experience of Hamman in the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel experience and it deserve a five starts rating.

I recently stayed at Al Fassia and would highly recommend anyone staying in Marrakech to consider this wonderful hotel. Myra the co owner and her staff made my stay so special. They are attentive, friendly and can’t do enough for you. I stayed as part of a larger group and the whole process from the initial booking to checkout was a joy. The hotel is a traditional styled riad with an attached restaurant which I also highly recommend. I made a wise decision to eat there on two evenings and the cookery is first class. The city is a short and low cost taxi journey away, Go ahead and book, you won’t be disappointed !

We stayed here in advance of a business trip to be hosted at this family run hotel. I couldn’t praise it enough. Run by the charismatic Myra, we were incredibly well looked after by all the wonderful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. They epitomised the best of Morrocan graciousness and service. Fab room and a lovely big bathroom, and some cool courtyards and internal spaces to sit and relax. We are it the restaurant one night, which has an all female chef team. The shoulder of lamb was exquisite, and it had a mix of clientele from families to local celebrities. It is situated a short cab ride away from the Medina, so be prepared to taxi a taxi in and out (daytime around £5) unless you don’t mind the walk … around 40 mins, taxis were plentiful and very polite, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Travelling with friends we stayed here for three nights and simply could not fault this hotel. Myra and here staff are exceptional and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our holiday and relax. The rooms are beautifully presented and spacious, couple this with a fantastic restaurant and such attentive staff, we couldn't do anything other than enjoy ourselves. The staff were also very helpful I helping us to organise our trips out along with taxi drivers that we could rely on.

All the positive comments are so true and the pictures are also very accurate. Myra and her staff couldn’t do enough - so attentive and friendly. The food is pretty amazing too. Sadly I suppose we’ll also remember it as the night of the earthquake. We slept by the poolside with blankets but the staff carried on despite all of us being in shock. Thank you so much everyone for a lovely 4 days.

Myra and her warm and wonderful staff gave us one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The pool is beautiful. The massage and hammam were both very nice. The room was lovely. Good shower pressure and nice stained glass in the windows. Fun decor and good amount of space. The food is also excellent and some of the best Moroccan food we had our whole trip. The restaurant is right there on the property which is very convenient. The lemon olive chicken tajine was fantastic. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Marrakech. The front desk was very helpful as well. The building is a little ways from the main city center (bout a 45-1hr wall and about. 10-15 min drive) which is quite nice and makes for a quiet experience. A cab ride into town should cost you about 50-80 dirham (approx 5-8 dollars). Depending on how well you can negotiate. Would love to come back and have another visit here. A real gem. If you go please tell Myra that Rob and Emma say hello! We stayed in her room.

A lovely little boutique hotel in Marrakech. The layout is lovely, the interior just looks beautiful and so serene. The rooms are wonderful, or at least the one we stayed in was fantastic. All the staff are wonderful, kind, courteous, helpful. The room was super comfortable, I loved it. Pool was great, lovely and refreshing. I would be super happy to stay here again. Only negative was the manager who was a bit cheap and mean.

What a stunning hotel. Fantastic staff, amazing food and a completely relaxing stay. The hotel is well located in Marrakesh. Far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle but close enough to have amenities such as ATMs, shops, restaurants and bars. You’ll not want to leave the hotel though, it has everything you need. We’d love to stay here again. We loved every minute of our stay.
