Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I stayed at Al Fassia in March 2019 after cancelling a riad booking near the Medina as it wasn,t quite what we expected. This was probably one of our best decisions ever, as it brought us to Al Fassia and its amazing staff and amenities. Al Fassia is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and we travel a lot. Myra and her team are the friendliest, most helpful people imaginable and all the staff offer service with a smile at all hours; most speak English very well and those that don't were able to follow my basic French! The rooms are large and spacious, and there are only 30 or so rooms on two levels, so it is all very peaceful, with all rooms surrounding a beautiful palm tree square and fountain. WiFi reception is excellent - TV has BBC World and CNN

I visited the property for a short stay in Morocco. I travel around the world and get to know the local culture and especially the kitchen. Among other things, this hotel has an excellent restaurant. the location is excellent for exits to the surroundings. The staff with the hotel manager is fantastic. there is nothing to reproach. Every single employee does his job well. There is a swimming pool and traditional massages.

We travel a lot, and too often stay in unremarkable "vanilla" hotels. This makes the exceptional hotel stay all the more notable - and Al Fassia Aguedal is one such exceptional place! The rooms are large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with individual personality - in fact the whole place is tastefully appointed and immaculately clean, with great attention to detail - even the orange blossom aroma which wafts across the property from reception. Breakfast is great - everything freshly made and varied daily - the egg and tomato tagine was delicious. However it is the people who set this place apart - from Myra, the owner, who treated us like her personal guests, to every other member of staff we came across, everyone was friendly and genuinely warm - indeed we had hugs

I’ve been to Marrakesh many times, and usually stay in the Medina, but this time I needed some serious R&R after a very busy and stressful year at work. Myra and her team work wonders at this beautifully appointed Riad, everything is on point, from the decor to the food to the lovely pool and fantastic service. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay a little away from the mayhem of the Medina this is the place! The restaurant next door twinned to the hotel was equally delightful. I had the Kofte tagine...try it you won’t be disappointed, perfect comfort food. Thank you thank you, I will be back very soon! In fact I’ve already booked my return trip 😊

The hotel is a little on the outskirt, but there are cinemas, shopping malls, and other activities. This is a secure area. The hotel personnel is outstanding. When we arrive, the room was warm, fruit and Moroccan cookies were waiting for us. We felt at home. Breakfast was fantastic , always different. I will certainly come back there with my children. Oh, there is a fireplace in the Moroccan salon for the breakfast. In winter for sure. They found a taxi for us to go around.

Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Myra and her team are the friendliest, most helpful people that you can imagine. As for the hotel, every time you get back after a day trip in the Atlas mountains or a walking tour of the Medina, you feel like you're entering an oasis of peace an tranquility. And the restaurant next door.....best food in Marrakech by far. The hotel is about 4km from the center but this for us was a bonus...it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of central Marrakech....also the Carrefour supermarket 5 mins walk away is allowed to sell wine etc so this was a definite plus!!! Also the shopping center that it's connected to has a food court on the 1st floor which is also handy. ATMs there as well.

i have stayed in Al Fassia for a week with my family including my daughter a 2 year old. We all had one of the best experiences ever thank to the incredible staff and even more incredible hotel manager Myra. Their genuine, friendly, attentive approach made our holiday so special that we felt like we were in a homey cosy environment rather than a hotel. i highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Marrakesh as it will make your experience extremely enjoyable! Myra Chab (owner) - one of a kind woman that will make you feel so welcome you will not want to leave by the end of your trip! Thank you Al Fassia - we will be back soon! Lots of love from us all especially my littlle one! :)

65th! No better place to celebrate. Treated like a queen by Chab family owners of the hotel and restaurant. The hotel is comfortable and very atmospheric. Beautiful lobby (see photo). Pool is an oasis of calm. Started each day with breakfast by the pool. Food at the adjoining restaurant is superb! You can get into the old town and new town quickly for sightseeing or stay by the pool all day! Definitely the place to stay in Marrakech!

To say that we based our return trip to marrakech solely based on our love of Al Fassia from our first trip would be an exaggeration.. however, we did factor it in! It was amazing again! The service, the food, the atmosphere is just wonderful and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who is going to marrakech. It is slightly out of the way but definitely worth the taxi fare!

Marrakech, one of the obligatory cities that one has to visit in his life. In the ancient capital of Morocco, near the beautiful botanical gardens- The "Agdal Gardens" is located the perfect oasis - Al Fassia Aguedal, a magical place telling the tales of the Arabian nights. I've had a great time during my stay - Extremely positive and friendly attitude from the staff and the manager - real professionalism. The hotel is built in a true Moroccan style with patios, great suites and atmosphere. The restaurant is incredible with varieties of traditional cousin, famous people have been visited it such as Leonardo Dicaprio. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.
